An internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you have learned at university, use your knowledge in practice and live your passion for sports.


The “Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence” Team for our market Europe is part of the European Business Development organization. The team creates high-class consumer & market research analytics and supports all areas of the business within the market Europe (including for example our business units and channel & account teams) in their decision-making process ensuring high levels of consumer centricity. The team utilizes a wide range of quantitative as well as qualitative data sources enabling holistic analytics on latest consumer & market trends.


  • Support the creation of high-class consumer & market insights
  • Support & develop quarterly management updates on market performance, especially in regard to our new strategy “Own The Game”
  • Support the roll-out of new insights sources
  • Use relevant tools (e.g. Tableau) to facilitate access to data and insights by performing own analytics and creating easy-to-use dashboards.
  • Educate stakeholders and contribute to data-based decision-making and action 



  1. Student of business studies, data analytics, marketing, psychology, computer science or related field
  2. Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  3. Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
  4. High interest in mastering new tools, experience in working with databases, Tableau/ Microstrategy, Excel (incl. Pivot), Think Cell is a plus
  5. Strong MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  6. First working experience in a marketing, strategy or consulting area is a plus
  7. English fluent (written and spoken), German is optional
  8. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills in combination with a strategic way of thinking
  9. Open-minded & proactive team player with a passion for sport/ sporting goods industry
