Jr. Regional Visual Merchandising Manager - Omnichannel (1 year Temp placement)

  1. Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

This role is responsible for efficiently organizing and monitoring the team of VMs & VM Champions in OR doors, maximizing the profitability as well as meeting or exceeding VM standards of the assigned doors by ensuring efficient and effective execution of the European VM strategy and direction.

2. Key Responsibilities:



•             Provide information given by European excellence team and regional VM manager to OR/WHS/FRANCHISE partners through trainings and meetings.


•             Understand needs and gives feedback to the VM manager regarding partner’s requests and demands.

•             Inform and create CTAs (call to actions) to internal stakeholders based on the above to create strong synergies.


•             Provide guidance and manage the VM team efficiently regarding guidelines and latest updates. Ensure all information is cascaded down to the team and VM champions and implemented accordingly.


Merchandising display:

•             Ensure assigned doors and OR team comply with European standards and guidelines to provide a brand shopping experience to all consumers.


•             Ensure all windows are presented to a high standard including mannequins dressing and positioning, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming and price communication (if applicable).

•             In charge of creating clear Shop-in-Shops for emphasizing category presentation with the correct use and positioning of In-Store Communication Tools by supporting and consulting WHS/ FRANCHISE partners.



•             Ensure correct use and positioning of In-Store Communication Tools in all assigned doors.


•             Give direction on dressing in-store mannequins and placing props correctly.



•             Apply and maintains Brand Retail and VM Standards and train the teams to execute flawlessly.

•             Correct and in time submission of surveys into VM tools including taking and uploading pictures into the system (when applicable).


•             Flawless execution on Marketing activities aligned with marketing department.


•             Train all VM Champions on the VM standards and VM guidelines.

•             Keep up-to-date on competitor analysis as well as current and upcoming fashion trends across the country area.


•             Optimization of full price sell out through implementation of Visual Excellence guidance.


•             Take part in the new openings processes, both planning and implementation.


•             Visit retail stores regularly and ensures that visual display standards are in the highest level.

•             Manage a team of VM Champions of Own Retail (CS and FO) stores, to execute the Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines in all stores concepts according to the VM calendar.

•             Deliver input for development of best practice processes, standards and operational plans for all stores and doors within area of responsibility, to support the implementation of Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines.

•             Support further duties as requested by the VM manager.



Equipment control:


•             Return and correctly store unused equipment including fixtures, mannequins, props & graphic frames.


•             Manage fixtures with care to avoid damages.


•             Correctly manage orders of f&f as per partner’s needs.

4. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


•             Good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

•             Fluency in English both verbal and in writing

•             Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills

•             Geographical mobility across the country

•             People management



5. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

•             Secondary education or equivalent professional experience or university degree

•             Minimum 2 years of dedicated VMM experience is preferred
