Junior Omnichannel Activation Manager (Temp)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Execute implement, track and optimize adidas holistic Omni-channel plan for selected Accounts in accordance with global and EUROPE guidelines and the local strategic plan in order to:

  • guarantee the visibility of company’s key concepts both on customers’ websites and at brick&mortar point of sales
  • achieve business and marketing objectives for the different categories, thus increasing the sell-out
  • reach out the adidas consumer aiming at exciting, engaging and converting intention to buy into sales.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Implement, in the Wholesale Channel, the Omnichannel Activation plan, executing the activities defined together with Brand and Concept to Consumer functions and aligning with EUROPE omni-channel calendar at Country level
  • Contribute to Account Marketing Plans for key accounts in country; support presentation for /with Sales Teams
  • Support perfect execution at POS (including the coordination of space planning, POS ordering, VM planning…)
  • Use social media monitoring tools to report on metrics while continually finding ways to improve engagement/conversion through testing and new initiatives
  • Be the expert on current and upcoming social and digital channels and use the knowledge to help accounts increase adidas sell through
  • Coordinate campaigns and product-focused messaging in partnership with Newsroom, Brand Communication and SpoMa Managers sticking the Seasonal Campaigns calendar
  • Partner with adidas Community Brand Manager to leverage the adidas community into conversion through partner eCommerce sites
  • Partner with retailers proactively on SEM, SEO, and metadata strategies as they relate to adidas products
  • Ensure that the communications are consistent with the tonality and quality of adidas brand and in line with brand guidelines
  • Support briefing of agencies to execute the campaigns both on customers’ websites and at POS
  • Assist in gathering feedback to EUROPE Channel Activation on performance of concepts and on toolbox readiness


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in brand marketing and/or sales
  • Project management experience
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Good negotiation skills/ relationship building


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years' experience leading omni-channel activation activities including in-store communication, events, digital and social initiatives to create consumer engagement and demand
  • Expert level skill and strategic ability around the digital and social media landscape
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in digital photography/video editing, Photoshop, and Adobe CS a plus
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Understanding of endemic/network digital media and email marketing tactics
  • Knowledge of legal protocol around social contests and ability to partner with company legal team on such details
  • Deadline and budget-oriented
