Manager, Brand Comms & Sports Marketing

Purpose/ Mission:

  • To ensure positive development of the adidas brand image through brand concepts in key categories, to support sustainable and profitable market share growth by providing efficient and effective communication of key messages across all appropriate communication channels.
  • Execute the SEAPAC Influencer and Athlete Strategy, taking into account relevance to the local market.
  • Balance brand and category message against channel (Wholesale and DTC-ORT, Franchise, EComm) specific requirements.
  • Support in Key City Attack Plans and Traffic Driving activities.

 

Functional

  • Execute the communication & influencer/sports marketing plans and detailed budgets for country/SEAPAC, including PR execution
  • Input country media, digital, and social media needs into SEAPAC plans
  • Ensure global/SEAPAC marketing guidelines are upheld during execution of concepts to local market
  • Implementation of Marketing Events
  • Support the control of existing asset agreements (product and servicing)
  • Ensure timely and sufficient equipment support to Sports Marketing partners with the material contractually agreed and ensure on- and off-field visibility
  • Ensure timely and sufficient equipment support to Influencers with the material contractually agreed and ensure visibility
  • Reporting of country communication trends, including competitor analysis
  • Elaborate and implement the Brand Communications & Sports Marketing plan, within the brand guidelines, integrating the effort of the creative, media, online, BTL and PR agencies
  • Elaborate local campaigns, within the brand guidelines and SEAPAC media communications plan/toolkit
  • Ensure translation into cost efficient implementation across all appropriate communication channels and tools
  • Ad hoc SEAPAC wide projects
  • Maintain close contact with sports agencies or clubs; as well athletes and influencers
  • Management of promo stock at country level
     
    People:
  • Follow up with involved parties within the communication process
  • Act as a business contact for external parties (agencies, suppliers, athletes/influencers)
     
    Controlling:
  • To monitor all reports
  • To monitor Marketing Working Budget
     
    Professional background/ Experience:
  • University degree in Marketing/Advertising or related course
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role heading up a similar structure with an MNC. Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ shoes or agencies. With 2-3 years experiencewith a mix of consumer and trade marketing, media planning/buying, digital marketing experience
  • High level of project management, budget management and scheduling
  • Ability to work in international environment, good with people, outgoing personality, leadership by example.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa
  • Has experience and passion for sports
