Manager, Digital Content & Operations Wholesale

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

•    This role has been created to develop and advance our brand presence and commercial execution with wholesale partners across digital channels. 
•    Manager, Digital Content & Operations will be responsible for working to understand the digital capabilities and content needs of our WHS partners and in turn leverage adidas working tools, teams, and strategies to elevate the execution of our brand on their website; ensuring improved representation of the adidas brand digitally and increased performance targeting Net Sales and Market Share. 
•    Ensure consistent adidas product data and descriptions across E-Commerce accounts
•    Assure product data and descriptions are always up to date and match the adidas quality requirements


Key Responsibilities: (to be performed in alignment with global guidelines):

•    Own and develop processes to actively source, manage and audit the execution of digital content with WHS partners. 
•    Lead content needs and internal alignment of process to enable, elevate and scale our content and operational ability and consulting with key WHS partner teams.
•    Partner with Analytics and Partner development to elevate our consumer journey with by identifying key elevated content and capabilities needs
•    Drive enhancements in consumer experience in DPC Sales business channels through focus on the consumer service to ensure unique and positive experience for the consumer
•    Lead frameworks to work with digital partners by gaining an understanding of partner capabilities while internally supporting the accelerated tools and capabilities; inclusive how we input and publish all relevant product data across the variable digital customer landscape.
•    Develop tools and approach to continuously improve content performance; specifically drive efficiency in how the adidas brand is executed digitally with WHS partners.
•    Partner with WHS sales teams to develop and maintain Strategic Account Plans by elevating digital strategy and approach through the lens of content and operational capability.
•    Facilitate best practice sharing sessions to expedite progress across WHS
•    Drive synergies throughout internal and external databases, creating a comprehensive product attribute matrix 
•    Build and maintain a robust data base with capabilities to automate and link comprehensively to product creation systems
•    Support building process, tools, and automation of input/execution with digital partners
•    Coordinate New Item Setup (NIS) process and data management
•    Support Product Detail Page (PDP) setup leveraging global Digital Partner Commerce best practices and tools
•    Build and leverage strategic partnerships with product owners, marketing and sales operations teams, and customer sales teams to develop and maintain strategic account plans
•    Curate and optimize digital merchandising for key products, collection and product description page and navigation of products throughout the consumer journey to bring product to life and maximizing their value in season
•    Identify local shooting items to create local DPC contents to drive DPC sales
•    Manage our external agencies to meet agreed targets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

•    Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills
•    Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English. Skills and abilities in other languages are an added plus


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

•    University degree in business with marketing and sales focus
•    Minimum 5 years of sales experience within large sales/eCOM organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG 
•    Experience of people and operational management preferred
•    Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Supply Chain
•    IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills
