Manager, Key Account Management

Purpose/Mission

To achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned field account(s), while aligning with adidas brand image & strategy and ensuring target achievement

 

Accountabilities

Functional

1. To establish strong relationship with key accounts and make the Company their preferred partners

2. To effectively apply sales strategies, policies and best practices the Accounts business segmentation.

3. Allocate resources, negotiate, implementation and tracking of action plans.

4. To ensure a win-win when negotiating trade term for both adidas and customer

5. To ensure reliable and efficient supply of products to customers.  Effectively respond to customer’s needs & requests while minimizing the customer complaints.

6. To pursue additional business opportunities by supporting his/ her team and apply a strategic mid-long term approach within the accounts.

7. To internally represent the assigned key accounts towards all functions and vice versa.  Manage all interfaces

8. To develop Alliance Accounts/Global Accounts/Key Accounts strategies

  •  To ensure quarterly updates of strategic account initiative
  • To present strategic initiatives by providing strategy basen on adidas 2025 strategy – align with regional strategy, activation and direction
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Building a trade term frame work as a tool to leverage business as a win-win strategy

9. To sell-in and agree on sell-through support

  • Proactively lead the alignment of the sell in/ out process across internal functions

10. To continue monitoring the sell-through and the order book as well as reliable and cost efficient supply for the key accounts

  • By proactively facilitate meeting/business reviews with designated operations team and Customer Service
  • To conduct and share sell through information from account

 

Controlling

1. To measure progress on assigned account’s KPIs

2. To monitor and report the market trends and competitors in the area

3. To provide realistic business plans and forecasts that is aligned with the company’s longer range plan.

4. Ensure customer compliance with trade agreements (ie. Trade term)

5. Inventory convertion to NS by giving/advacing strategy to customer as well as communicating and alignment with regional on OTB/budget set-up

 

Compliances

1. To observe both global and local policies and procedures in all dealings;

2. Support APAC changes and directions;

3. Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

 

Professional background/ Experience

  • Preferably 3 years in Sales or Key Accounts Management
  • Preferably from Apparel/ fashion/ Footwear or FMCG with exposure on sports, marketing, account management, digital sales, and marketing
  • Prefarably a University degree in Business with sales/ commercial focus
  • Technical Skills: Outlook - Basic, Word- Advanced, Excel - Advanced, Powerpoint - Advanced
  • Language Skills: Enlgish - Advanced, Local - Fluent
