Manager, Performance Marketing, SEA

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • Drive revenue growth of digital channels (e-Com, partner platforms & APP) by acquiring high quality traffic and consumers for the adidas SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam & Thailand).
  • Maximize quality traffic, consumer acquisition, shopping frequency, as well as ROI on marketing budget to achieve e-Commerce KPIs, sales and margin targets.
  • Ensure alignment between brand guidelines, key focus areas, digital initiatives & eCommerce performance marketing activities.
  • Measure & optimize the performance of online marketing activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of an acquisition & engagement strategy to gain new consumers and to incentivize more purchase from existing consumers. 
  • Develop and execute high-quality, high-scale traffic acquisition & revenue opportunities.  This includes but is not limited to organic search (SEO), paid search (SEM), paid social, retargeting, affiliate marketing, lead generation partnerships as well as connecting to offline channels.
  • Support development of annual business plan and quarterly tactical plan for traffic acquisition & revenue growth. 
  • Work closely with media agencies to deliver a premium consumer experience through high quality traffic to adidas digital channels.
  • Manage testing plan to optimize campaigns and channels
  • Budget management and maximize ROI on marketing spend
  • Feed management for all markets within SEA to ensure that inventories are well managed.
  • Align with internal teams (i.e. brand, merchandising, retail, digital, eCom, operations) on traffic acquisition strategies & overall business objectives.
  • Drive connection between low funnel & top funnel media buy strategy.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and develop new initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor metrics, and provide monthly channel reporting to management as well as deep-dive analytics to uncover strategic insights and action plans

  • Additional 3rd party providers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced experience in performance marketing strategy and execution with deep understanding of KPI’s ( eg ROAS, CPC,CTR etc)
  • Implementation-driven personality who understands all eCommerce traffic acquisition & revenue disciplines
  • Performance driven and capable of managing media spend effectively through active involvement with media agencies.
  • Ability to present technical results with insights & clear action steps.

  • Must have excellent attention to detail 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills
  • Power Point & Excel: Advanced


  • Strong performance marketing brief writing skills
  • Deep experience in a range of diagnostic tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Optymyzr and Dragon Metrics
  • History of demonstrated success in SEO, SEM campaign management including paid social, retargeting & affiliate marketing. 


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:  

  • University degree in business studies/marketing/communications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Digital Marketing
  • Proven track record in digital strategy, planning and implementation
  • Experience across own ecom, partner channels (eg Shopee, Lazada, Zalora etc) & Apps.
  • Passion for youth marketing, fashion and sports industry
