Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This is an in-house strategy key position for an organized, passionate and goal-oriented talent who understands what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.
- Drive major change initiatives across functions
- Manage stakeholder’s relationship and secure buy-ins to project deliverables
- Support enhancement activities on project management capabilities and knowledge management of the team
- Uphold and enhance the brand of Strategy & Programs within own network
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead program, project activities and manage effective and timely communication on project progress and results to (senior) management
- Execute overall project management and work streams deliverables (e.g. project planning, milestones execution and monitoring)
- Design and drive analytics framework to support project execution
- Lead interpretation of project results and translate into insights to steer the project successfully
- Effectively deploy project management toolkit to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
- Provide guidance and manage activities of assistant project managers and business analysts
- Manage Fulfilment Strategy & Programs departmental activities (e.g. knowledge sharing and employer branding)
Key Relationships:
- Initiate project activities and connect with other stakeholders to share activities at work stream level (e.g. GOPS, IT)
- Initiate and drive discussions with stakeholders to collect and consolidate feedback and gather input on solutions
- Establish working relationship and maintain regular contact with stakeholders
- Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
- Product (Creation functions, Footwear, Apparel and A&G product ops, etc.)
- Markets (SCM and Sales functions)
- Marketing (horizontal and vertical BU divisions)
- GOPS (Global IT, SCM, etc.)
- Corporate functions (e.g. legal, finance & performance management)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Soft skills:
- Capability to simplify complex matters and provide options
- Ability to build storyline to convey messages in a simple way
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and high level of influence skills
- Ability to work independently
Hard skills:
- Strong Excel analytics
- Extensive PowerPoint knowledge and skills
- Project management lean six-sigma certification
- Experience with project planning and process mapping tools (e.g. MS Project, Visio)
- Basic knowledge of enterprise solutions (e.g. SAP, development systems)
- Other HR toolboxes (e.g. Campus and self-learning modules)
People management skills:
- Work with and guide interns
- Manage work stream teams
- Assist coaching of more junior team members
Requisite Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience in MNC environment (e.g. management consulting, or regional exposure)
- Within which ~2 years of relevant project management or industry experiences
- University degree required
