Manager (m/f/d) Go-To-Market Running - Brand adidas Central (temp until 31.03.2022)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Support the Director GTM in managing the category’s business success by developing and implementing a robust category plan and ensuring that the strategic framework set by the Central Europe BU is adhered to.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Support the Director GTM in establishing the GTM proposal/the local marketing plan for the category (product, communication tools, Sports Marketing support, etc.).
  • Inform and brief the line manager with regard to category needs for the respective Cluster.
  • Administrate all relevant internal systems (e.g. RMA/DMT).
  • Act as the category’s contact person and support partner, in particular regarding product-related questions on all cross-functional areas of the Cluster.
  • Work in close cooperation with and provide support to the local Sales teams with regard to range-specific topics and concepts.
  • Report on and provide support for the analysis of the commercial input and the market-specific requirements, which are transmitted to the CE BU Lead by the line manager in accordance with the process timelines.
  • Support regular analyses of the category’s sell-in and sell-through performance.
  • Provide briefing on and administrate locally relevant SMUs.
  • Provide input on assortment planning and pricing as well as on GTM etc. for the CE category plan.
  • Support the preparation of presentations to the Sales team of the respective Cluster. Be actively present on stage and hold presentations.
  • Support the Cluster Brand Activation teams with regard to the GTM approach.
  • Support the execution of local events, e.g. Berlin Half Marathon or Wanderlust Central.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

 

  • Consumer focus with product and range knowledge
  • Understanding of a balanced relationship between brand and commercial aspects in order to develop distribution-channel-specific GTM solutions
  • Good organizational talent
  • Strong and convincing presentation skills
  • Passion for sport

 

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • University degree in business administration, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in merchandising, cross-functional marketing and/or sales
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • IT skills: Outlook and Word: basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
