Manager Brand Activation SP

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Develop Brand adidas to be the best sports brand via developing communication strategies for Sports Performance categories and enhance consumer connection and consideration.
  • Develop and execute brand and product campaigns through the best marketing mix and continuously enhance effectiveness and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop the communications strategy and plan for adidas Sport Performance categories to continuously build brand and category leadership and maximize the impact of brand campaigns and product launch with enhanced consumer engagement.
  • Strongly connected with market/competitors’ activities and consumer insights and identify opportunities to drive further growth of the brand and categories.
  • Develop and execute brand and product campaigns through the the best mix of media/ digital platforms, PR, KOL/KOC relationships, CRM and activations.
  • Collaborate with cross- functions eg. Retail, Merchandising, Product, Sports Marketing, eCom to deliver the best consumer experiences online and offline.



  • Manage marketing budget and continuously drive effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Follow internal financial procedures; on-going commitment and payment request forms management


System and Processes

  • Provide full support in the execution of ATL and BTL campaigns, online and offline.
  • Digest communication material from global/GCA toolkits and make recommendations on local adaptations; work closely with agencies for local productions.
  • Collaborate with media agency to create competitive media strategies and plans.
  • Understand and track marketing/ media KPIs and continuously improve content quality, media plan effectiveness and efficiency with accumulated learnings.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key media, influencers and celebrities.
  • Stay ahead of digital and social media trend and drive adidas leadership of consumers’ mind share and share of search KPI.
  • Support the GTM process through the development of Marketing Calendars aligned with CtC and GCA BA teams

  • Key interfaces (internal): The entire Brand adidas Team, Sales, Retail, CtC, Finance adidas GCA/global brand activation team
  • Key interfaces (external): media and creative agencies, production house, research houses, PR/ event agencies & influencers.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A sports enthusiast with knowledge and passion for sports industry.
  • Solid experiences of managing campaigns thru versatile digital and social media. Deep understanding of digital ecosystem and media buying measurements and can lead an integrated marketing plans across multiple platforms.
  • Deep understanding of brand building fundamentals with consumer- centric thinking.
  • Deep understanding of influencers (KOL/KOC) and PR skills.
  • Knowledge of virtual and physical event activation.
  • Flexibility and speed to react to trends and opportunities and can manage changes proactively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of functional sports or fashion products – footwear / apparel is a plus.


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years’ experience in the marketing/ digital marketing of a global consumer goods brand or advertising agency serving global consumer goods brands.
  • University Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin.
