Manager Business Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Building the silo in eCom to drive end-to-end reporting solutions that deliver holistic 360-degree insights about the China eCommerce business for platforms (TMall, JD, PDD, etc.).
  • Support on driving a data driven culture to manage decision making under uncertainty within a rapidly shifting sales environment.
  • Through partnership with various eCom functional stakeholders, lead to identify business opportunities and convert into business plan, building up the new growth pillar for platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and consolidate data streams to deliver a view of platform performance. Define and deploy dashboards and reports, using data visualization and insight analysis.
  • Work closely with partner leaders to build clear picture of growth driver/issues for team to take actions through business analysis.
  • Provide recommendations end-to-end to realize business uplift & conversion & margin optimization.
  • Manage IBP / Financial Forecasting based on trending, opportunities/issues, action plan and resources. And support to build fact-based planning environment.
  • Align with cross functional stakeholders to make sure the actions can be implemented and link with sales/profit target.
  • Enhance the framework for order and article level profitability that will serve as the foundation for marketing campaign and range effectiveness.
  • Maintain and optimize the analytics tools / reporting framework within China eCom so that every decision maker has access to the information needed in the way they want it – dashboards, visualization tools, reports etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or quantitative field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business intelligence/planning – preferably in online apparel or footwear retail.
  • Thorough understanding of platforms (Tmall, JD, PDD .etc.) and related analysis tools.
  • Strong data visualization and influence on adoption of Analytics into their day-to-day business.
  • Cooperative and trustable team member.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • Passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
  • Open-minded and passionate with entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent in Written and Spoken English.
