Manager Buying (m/w/d) - temp 1 year

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Prepare the Planning and Buying process for OR/FR Actively contribute to the OTB planning and management, defining optimal volumes to provided channel ranges. Execute in-season Trading decisions to meet store stock requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of pre-season strategy for OTB Planning & Management with CTC AP following the market financial targets (including planned production for Factory Outlet)
  • Contribute to the buying process for the OR/FR and assure right volumes are bought following market OTB plans, following Channel Ranges provided by Market CTC Assortment Plan teams
  • Support the submission of initial seasonal forecasts for OR/FR into applicable systems for horizontal review by global functions at key milestones
  • Prepare the size breakdowns for OR/FR process assuring they are created according to market needs and incorporated in the buying process
  • Execute market seasonal stock position assuring the right volumes are available in stores and distribution centers, and inform of changes to Allocation teams
  • Provide market in-season trading, assuring timely sales forecast by product, stock intakes and in-season markdowns for OR/FR
  • Prepare input to Market CTC Assortment Planning teams in regards to range needs by store tier
  • Execute according to market relevant store tiering process following global store tiering guidance, in collaboration with CTC Assortment Planning teams.
  • Execute effective flow of stock from OR/FR to assure product relevance in regular stores, adequate stock clearance and margin optimisation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Relevant job experience in a Planning & Buying function, and fully qualified and trained
  • Combined broad theoretical and practical knowledge incl. company policies and practices
  • Strong competence with Buying & Planning, procedures and systems

 

Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualification:

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years of typical relevant work experience
