Manager CTC- Originals

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Define short-term and medium-term growth objectives, sustainably grow profitability and market share for the managed Cluster.

Deliver a locally relevant assortment plan for WHS focusing on key accounts and considering the consumer and channel requirements to enable the cluster to maximize growth ambitions.

 

Execute, implement and operate the brand leadership as operating model in the cluster through establishing an Input, Plan, Create and Execute process with a defined interaction with the Cluster Brand Team and Cluster channel teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and accountable for Cluster Originals Category business plans for adidas, including objectives, KPIs (NS, GIM and RFC).
  • Drive a compelling range/concept selection for the cluster by balancing both brand and commercial considerations and supporting the business strategy of the WHS channels.
  • Drive Market Range enhancements through assortment planning that reflects localization and differentiation in market place where needed.
  • Deliver profitability of the Originals category by managing pricing, margin efficiency, FOBs (local production) and product category mix.
  • Take an active role on GTM product proposition (by category) aligning with BA/Omni team on Marketing plan, communication tools, activation tools, sports marketing support etc.
  • Collaborate with the KA teams to create the option plans and channel ranges per channel/segment tier for WWTW accounts
  • Own and Drive the RA for the category ensuring adherence to the Market & Cluster Range Architecture and requirements of cluster through feedback/inputs
  • Lead the creation and development of a domestic sourced range that is relevant for the cluster across FTW, APP and ACC of the Originals categories, that compliments the market & cluster range.
  • Work in close collaboration with Market BU Teams .
  • Analyse the sell-through performance of the Originals category and contribute to the strategic planning based on the analysis.
  • Accountable for inputting into the overall seasonal, IBP and contribute to category split for SBP.
  • Accountable for the forecast for the category as part of the IBP process
  • SCM collaboration to ensure (speed, Phasing, ILS, PO-PROD MOQ topics are planned and actioned.

  • Brand Health KPIS (Brand momentum, Net Promoter Score, Spontaneous purchase intent, etc.)
  • Category GIM% and Net Sales.
  • Market Direct Brand Contribution vs Plan
  • Process KPIs (timing, % of shared services/tools, etc.)
  • Project KPIs (respect timing, qualitative contribution, etc.)
  • Range size and efficiency (incl. overlap)
  • Local Production / SMU efficiencies      

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent skills to navigate and handle complex and challenging internal and external discussions.
  • Strong business acumen (Budgeting, P&L responsibility experience)
  • Advanced cross-functional Marketing knowledge and Market experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories (sporting goods industry preferred)
  • Consumer-focused with range understanding and the ability to balance Brand and Commercial priorities to build channel- and consumer-specific activation plans that meet KPI targets
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Strong understanding of merchandising approach
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) presentation and facilitation skills (small and large groups
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures
  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

1.     University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience

2.     5+ years of Merchandising Experience, cross-functional marketing experience and sales or retail exposure, ideally in sporting goods, fashion or other youth culture brands;

3.     Fluent in English and Turkish (writing and verbal)

4.     IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced
