Assistant Manager Content Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Accelerating eCommerce is a key pillar of our overall 2020 strategy for China for adidas. Our digital platforms and experiences play a vital role in connecting our consumers with our products and brands across many different touch points, as well performing the important role of selling directly to the consumer. 

The ideal candidate will work as the single contact for digital assets management and collaborate with global team and local team to ensure on-time delivery of product assets at a high quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Understand eCom’s seasonal requirements for product copy production to ensure the content created aligns with the business needs

  • Submit range plan and buys for China market on time and maintain requests/orders information
  • Manage digital assets request timeline and delivery timeline
  • Prioritize and filter market feedback and requirements for product copy production, style guide adjustment and more highlights according to Chinese consumer needs
  • Communicate key decisions, crucial commercial campaigns and special projects from local market and engage with global team for production support
  • Introduce global style-guides to local vendors and share local market insights with global team
  • Work with China legal and global team on copy translation approval workflow and optimization initiatives
  • A daily/weekly/monthly clear, structured, detailed report/list is required for digital content including, copy production, readiness tracking etc.

Publishing digital product assets on the appropriate eCom sties/pages

  • Coordinate with image production team and TP to ensure content publishing on local platform
  • Manage local copy review process and ensure all copy information is in accordance with China government regulations
  • Streamline digital assets production process in China market
  • Lead and align special projects request with key stakeholders in order to improve content planning process and tools
  • Conduct A/B testing if needed
  • A daily/weekly/monthly clear, structured, detailed report/list is required for digital content publishing tracking etc.

 Manage incidents around Digital product assets availability and quality

  • Work as the single contact for digital content status tracking
  • Lead TP to detect site errors, align with cross functions and agencies to make a correction
  • Accountable for consumer content accuracy – coordinate with copywriting and localisation vendor/TP/WH to check and compare the physical product, correct copy with local TP according to local culture and law, archive all incidents and report to global team
  • Day-to-day copy incident management: do physical check if required, identify & log incidents, support and fix incident submitted, track incident solution status and communicate with global team for necessary support,
  • Review incidents update or update to digital assets and publish new content accordingly
  • Troubleshoot with agencies and studios where required
  • Responsible for GC monthly digital content readiness and KPI newsletter
  • A daily/weekly/monthly clear, structured, detailed report/list is required for content incident tracking etc.
