Manager Merchandising - Sustainability (m/f/d)

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

 

  • Contribute to the Global Ranging Merchandising roadmap  and define it horizontal Merchandising Principles for Sustainability
  • Build a world class  cross-channel merchandising practice globally for Sustainability
  • Build and facilitate the implementation of the Global Ranging Strategy, contributing to a global brand footprint and increasing the company’s profitability

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop, Manage and execute global merchandising strategy horizontally for Sustainability and creat on global assortment plans during creation process. 

  • Provide CTC input into the BU product creation process and ensure it meets CTC requirements for the respective markets/channels. Support creating marketing plans and seasonal concepts.
  • Manage range architecture during planning and launch phase
  • Utilize historical data to inform creation and future assortment planning.
  • Develop and fulfil range/assortment plan for the top stores globally for the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring brand strategies are executed to drive commercial success
  • Contribute to the range and assortment planning for Brand Collection, Flagship, eCOM and FDD
  • Support regular analysis of competitor activity in the market
  • Pull data to review the markets pricing policy
  • Contribute to the development of key merchandising reports and be responsible for its implementation in markets
  • Analyse and review market order books to ensure key concepts/franchises are supported across all markets and channels
  • Support delivery of the required content/brand and strategic objectives on-time-in-full at key CTC milestones, e.g CTC Handover, GMM, SMM
  • Support in landing key brand priorities (eg BC) in the markets,

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Advanced knowledge of Retail Management Systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills at first-class level (data analysisand modeling) and ability to leverage those skills to influence decisions
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and across multiple functions and departments
  • Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Additional language is an advantage

 
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • University Degree or equivalent education required
  • Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising Experience or Account Marketing: Minimum 5 years experience
  • Preferable experience in sports industry and/or driving from strategy through execution
