Manager Digital Program Management

The Manager Program Management will report directly to the Director Digital Excellence and Programs under the China Digital Hub which belongs to the broader adidas Digital organization.  The China Digital Hub is responsible for building digital transformation foundations and driving innovation into the future through digital products – new products and their ongoing optimization and feature development. 


In this role, you will lead strategic and operational focused projects and programs and be a champion for continuous improvement in how we work.  You will inspire a positive team culture and partner closely with Product Directors and teams, IT Directors and teams, and other cross-workstream and cross-functional partners.  Above all, you will be a driving force in achieving an end-to-end digitally enabled organization with consumer wants and needs at the core.



What you will work on:

Program/Project Management

  • Leading cross-functional programs and projects, including driving clarity of scope, building plans and following through on delivery
  • Representing the China Digital Hub in operations/implementation discussions to foster strong relationships with China key stakeholders, ensuring that their views and requirements are captured

Process Improvement

  • Driving and supporting process improvement initiatives in digital ways of working; making continuous improvements and adjustments
  • Developing and maintaining standards for processes to be leveraged within and across teams
  • Monitoring the results of process changes to ensure they are working
  • Influencing and driving a “digital mindset” and improving ways of working across the organization
  • Championing innovation and creativity

Digital Product Excellence

  • Conceptualizing and articulating product implementation ideas that join the dots across multiple product areas
  • Framing business problems and articulating how digital products solve these problems across multiple platforms
  • Ensuring that objective data sources and feedback are used for optimization of products

What you bring

Must haves:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Marketing, Communications or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in eCommerce, Product Strategy, Management Consulting, Digital Strategy, or Omnichannel Operations
  • 2+ years of other relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in process improvement and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Capacity to anticipate, comprehend and manage dependencies across other initiatives in the organization
  • Passion for improving processes for internal stakeholders and driving a first-class consumer experience
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape
  • High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet software
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Project management certification
  • Experience in creating business cases to support investment and internal resource requests
  • Understanding of IT products and capabilities
