Manager Digital Publishing - Brand Central (m/f/d)

Purpose:

Deliver the adidas message to the consumer through owned and paid social, creating engaging content and advertising experiences which drive conversation both one to one and at scale, and connecting them to adidas’ wider digital world adidas.com and the adidas app.

 

Create Brand connection & product desire via innovative storytelling & publishing, rooted in sport, culture & real-time consumer engagement. 

  • Execute the digital publishing strategy across owned and paid social according to the global brand and category calendars.  Ensure best in class consumer journeys by connecting social media experiences to adidas digital platforms.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute local content production to land relevant stories in Germany.
  • Manage social platforms and other external partners to realize the digital publishing strategy, and brand and category calendars.
  • Coordinate and manage adidas’ social communities and work with Customer Service to ensure the best possible consumer experience and moderation on any social media touch point
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders (Brand communications categories, PR, key city, eCommerce, Membership, BUs, Sports Marketing, EIM) to create brand relevant content pieces and land stories to support wider business goals.
  • Manage seamless process from brief, creation to sign-off & publishing. Champion the need for authentic branded content that’s true to the brand, insight led, innovative and impactful for the brand around key brand campaigns and sport culture moments.
  • Collaborate with category comms teams, partner publishing colleagues and team analyst to champion data-driven decision making and develop consumer relevant stories and innovative publishing formats
  • Work with media agency and comms responsibles to deliver best-in-class media planning and execution and ensure that all campaigns and content are fully tagged and tracked to support measurement
  • Partner closely with external agencies (partners agencies, creative agencies, open source creators…) to deliver best-in-class content and creator experience

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in content creation and publishing for social
  • Experience managing & briefing agencies
  • Advanced project management
  • Advanced experience and continued curiosity with all major social media networks: Facebook / Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch etc. 
  • Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned and paid
  • Detailed knowledge & passion for Sport, entertainment industry and culture that inspires it 
  • Advanced presentation and organizational skills
  • Creative, collaborative, and confident  
  • Proactive and solutions orientated approach 
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related field
  • 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
