Manager GBS Business Performance & Program Management O2C (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

GBS, the engine that designs, builds and operates consistent adidas end-to-end business services & solutions globally to drive the transformation TO ONE ADIDAS enabling our Business Partners to focus on core business.


GBS prioritizes executing transitions, process and solution roadmaps. Implementing one service framework, performance measurements and GBS customer board. Furthermore GBS is driving the implementation of robotics process automation (RPA).


It is the overarching goal to move the adidas Group to a much more consistent, standardized and automated operating model with solid governance, architecture and operating model.


The position holder will support the Director GBS Business Peformance & Program Management O2C and will provide coordination and business support for the entire O2C team, as it sets and delivers the solution strategy and roadmap for an end-to-end business solution globally. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the process of strategy implementation of the O2C and GBS roadmap in close collaboration with the VP GBS O2C and the leadership team
  • Act as Project Management Office by monitoring progress of achieving key transformational initiative milestones
  • Support implementing Change Management plans to ensure a smooth implementation of the necessary changes in the organization
  • Support the Director BPP O2C in defining for the VP GBS O2C the ‘management agenda’, priorities and objectives for the O2C organization, working closely with Strategy & Program teams
  • Support the monitoring and reporting of project demand/progress and strategic priorities
  • Partner with other PMO teams, ensuring initiatives and projects are completed and targets achieved
  • Steer and encourage discussions with x-functional stakeholders to ensure adequate and timely alignment on proposed direction(s) by identifying stakeholders and maintaining stakeholder maps in collaboration with Change Management & Adoption
  • Support the Director BPP O2C to identify and manage (senior) stakeholder group, establish solid working relationship and steer communication
  • Deliver executive level presentations and reports
  • Manage and coordinate senior leadership meetings, events and team-internal processes
  • Support VP GBS O2C and the Director BPP O2C on management of budgets
  • Support internal communication concepts in collaboration with the Communications team to ensure employee engagement and understanding of current strategy
  • Drive the development of respective workspaces, Yammer groups and other communication channels
  • Develop and maintain a project network with other relevant departments within/outside Global Operations in order to get end-to-end transparency of project activity
  • Support the OKR process for O2C, coordinating with Manage Business Domain team and overseeing process from OKR creation to tracking, alignment, changes. Also work closely with GBS PMO team and align on process/changes/demands
  • Manage stakeholder requirements related to projects including collecting data, delivering analysis, problem resolution and support recommending options

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive work experience in relevant functional area, ideally in a Shared Service or GBS environment
