Manager Inbound Planning Analytics


The Manager Inbound Planning Analytics is responsible for overseeing operational tasks that can be centralized for consistent and efficient execution to support the Inbound Planning teams, covering all distribution centers in scope of NAM Inbound Planning. In addition to operational activities he/she will develop and publish reports, analysis and recommendations to the management team to understand performance drivers and influence decision making.


Key Responsibilities: 
•    Produce inbound forecasts to enable efficient DC resource planning and intake performance according to logistics service policy (LSP)
•    Provide detailed KPI metrics to measure Inbound Planning performance, including measurement of forecast accuracy, lead times, container fill-rates and availability picture on a monthly basis
•    Produce a monthly Inbound Dashboard as a high level overview to supplement KPI reports and to share with senior management
•    Set up and provide shared operational reporting to ensure optimal quality of data
•    Support development of new reporting through Micro Strategy (acting as the Inbound Power User), together with Supply Chain Development team
•    Support with defining inbound team structure and continuous process improvement
•    Responsible for shared operational processes (such as ASN’s)
•    Assume responsibility of Network folder structure where team documentation is stored and the SharePoint location where Inbound documentation is shared
•    Assume responsibility for ensuring complete and up-to-date manuals and standard operating process documentation for the Inbound teams
•    Establish inbound materials for communication during cluster calls (100% meetings), warehouse calls, performance reviews and management meetings
•    Participate in regional projects with the goal to represent the inbound planning requirements of Order Fulfillment Europe

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
•    In depth knowledge of supply chain mechanics

•    MS Office (Excel/Access, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)
•    SAP knowledge
•    Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
•    Strong reporting & analytical skills
•    Operations as wells as cost-focused mindset
•    Basic understanding of external transportation systems
•    Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
•    Demonstrating initiative and acting result oriented
•    Strong and clear communication skills 


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
•    A university degree with emphasis in the areas of business, information systems, logistics or operations
•    3-4 years of work experience in supply chain management
•    Good SAP skills and 3rd Party applications
•    Competent user in Microsoft Office applications 
•    Knowledge of Microstrategy and GT Nexus would be preferred
•    Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
