Manager Key Account

Ensure profitable and sustainable market share growth in adidas with assigned customer(s) while respecting brand category and brand image.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be the most competent brand ambassador, knowing all aspects of the Brand and relevant categories (market, competitors, products/technologies, events, sporting news, athlete’s, trends etc.).
  • To organize and prepare sell-in customer meetings using the sell-in checklist, preselecting the range, offering sell-out support, based on our seasonal Specialist category focus products, technologies and concepts.
  • To visit customers regularly respecting the store visit category guidelines (VM, WSP/WOM, RSM, re-orders, POS-material etc.) ensuring continuous improvement of the category.
  • To get sell through date from key customer(s).
  • To update the customer segmentation survey(s) and their classification annually
  • Provide regular reports and call to action against defined KPI’s in market.
  • Provide accurate and timely input into sales planning forecasting cycle
  • To negotiate and enforce the trade terms within the given frame

 

Controlling:

  • To measure progress on own KPI’s
  • To monitor all reports
  • To monitor and report on customer and competitors’ activities and propose/initiative/take actions
  • To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance
  • To ensure customer compliance with agreements

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Academic working and thinking level (HBO/WO)
  • Strong communication skills; written, oral and presentation
  • Ability to build strong relationships, both internal and external
  • Proficient IT skills including; Microsoft, SAP and specific tools like Sales Rep Tool.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills
  • Independent, proactive thinker
  • Commercially driven
  • Fluent Dutch/English language skills (written and oral)
  • Driving license

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  •  > 3 years sales, ideally with wholesale focus
  • Previous industry experience including sporting goods, fashion, FMCG
  • Expert of Sport, Fitness, Training category
