Manager Operations, Workplaces, APAC

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE TO THE ORGANIZATION

Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas. This supports the successful implementation of “Impossible is Nothing” by supporting revenue growth, portfolio optimization and creating great workplaces to attract and retain top talent across the globe. To ensure a successful and sustainable Portfolio, Workplaces collaborates within an extensive network of internal / external stakeholders and industry experts to provide value added service. 

In this role you are responsible for supporting the transactions and projects teams in the day to day real estate business by working with internal and external partners to execute and optimize processes and ensure operational excellence

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Support Project Directors, Department head and Workplaces in developing and implementing Workplaces processes, policies, and procedural improvements.
•    Development of communication materials required for all project and financial approvals.
•    Create and maintain Workplaces internal communications and presentations
•    Support regional Workplaces Demand Planning calls with regional leaders.   
•    Develop supply / demand documentation to inform strategic planning.
•    Insure Workplaces data accuracy and responsible for maintaining data as portfolio evolves. 
•    Create and implement communication materials upon delivery of projects which summarize the value Workplaces delivered for the project.
•    Workplaces regional point of contact with internal partners to insure guidelines/processes are followed. 
•    Develop and foster effective working relationship with all key contacts at each property within the regional portfolio.  
•    Track financial approval process/coordination, track budget to actual data and communicate
•    In partnership with internal and external partners, lead and maintain portfolio reporting, project reporting, regional/sub-regional real estate demanding planning and financial reporting. 
•    In partnership with Project Directors and Department Head, partner with procurement and I.T. to insure effective portfolio communication governance / policies are followed and accurate reporting is developed.
•    SAP management, including creating / tracking purchase orders as needed
•    Provide Workplaces Team with additional support as needed

•    Strong team player and the ability to work with diverse groups of people productively
•    Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders globally
•    Strong ability to organize and maintain data / Problem solving and analysis skills
•    Excellent Powerpoint and presentation development skills
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
•    Ability to create reports in a presentable manner to multiple different stakeholders.
•    Some Travel will be required (10-20%)
•    APAC Regional language skills a plus
