Job Title:  Paid Social and App Marketing Manager

Direct Reporting Line: Manager Performance Marketing, Emerging Markets

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Take a leading position in developing a strategy and plan for Paid Social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter etc. across all adidas Emerging Markets
  • Constant improvement of measuring methodologies to reach accurate ROI of paid social campaigns
  • Maintaining business objectives across various social channels and campaigns for EM
  • Regularly optimize campaigns based on product, region, language, ad copy, targeting techniques, creatives, campaign structure, landing pages, and general messaging
  • Create regular reports showing campaign objectives are achieved. This may include, but limited to, ROI and changes to ROI over time.
  • Work with the Creative partners and clusters to develop effective creative communication for campaigns
  • Build, optimize and scale effective paid social campaigns for all clusters within Emerging Markets
  • Identify and test new and innovative growth opportunities to deliver CPA/ROI goals in multiple markets and languages
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and sharing best practices in social media and app marketing with cluster teams
  • Manage performance metrics and budget tracking while ensuring benchmarks are established, lessons are learnt, and growth opportunities capitalized
  • Analyze monthly Sprinklr reports and social sentiments for each cluster and take out actionable inferences for future planning.
  • Build strong relationship with cluster/Global/DBC counterparts to drive cluster performance for Social and App adidas business
     

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree required, with 5-8 years of experience in managing Paid Social media marketing and campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, Twitter etc. and the App Install/action campaigns
  • Should be an expert in social content marketing, familiar with social media listening and content management tools (e.g: Sprinklr), experienced in managing different social media channels and aware of the latest trends in advertising.
  • Experience in Campaign Optimization (Generating decisions, scaling up campaigns, etc.).
  • Proven experience driving a positive ROI "Return on Investment" from paid traffic from social media marketing using DPA (Dynamic Product Ads), DABA (Dynamic Audience for Broad Audience), Catalog ads, Instant Experience ads, Store Visit and Sales campaigns etc.
  • Experience in App Install/Action campaigns is desirable with strong understanding of App analytics tools such as Appsflyer, Branch etc.
  • Should have an analytical bent of mind and be able to analyze performance data and key metrics to draw insights and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level paid social accounts by supporting from media planning to execution
  • The role also requires coordinating with creative and media agencies and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Core understanding of conversions tracking and attribution modeling including pixel/tags creations, conversion setting, look back window, and custom variables
  • Experience working with scripts, automation solutions, and various ad personalization
  • Expert understanding of third-party web tracking tools like, [Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Strong presentation skills and demonstrated stakeholder relationships capabilities
  • Strong understanding of social listening tools such as Sprinklr etc. and working experience with FMPs such as ROI Hunter, Smartly etc. to optimize social campaigns.
  • Good command over Google analytics, search, ad campaigns & optimizations.
  • Provide periodical performance reports and present improvement plans.
  • Strong PPT and Excel skills as well as data analysis & problem-solving abilities.
  • Detailed understanding of marketing concepts & brand communications.
  • A strong understanding of how to optimize campaigns; ability to separate the most effective strategies from the noise
  • Experience meeting deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software tools
  • Self-starter with a passion and ability to work “hands on” as well as lead team members
  • Ability to build effective relationships with individuals across all levels of an organization

Education:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree required, with 5-8 years relevant digital marketing experience especially in Paid Social. (Agency or client side)
  • Experience in forecasting, planning & managing large budgets split across multiple channels, markets, and campaigns
  • A deep understanding of audience management, analytics, reporting and optimization
  • Understanding of attribution modelling is valuable
  • High attention to detail; strong analytical skills and excellent organizational & planning abilities
  • Proficient in written & spoken English
