Manager Partner Publishing (m/f/d)

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Deliver the adidas strategy & guidance for partner publishing across the Newsroom network and wider adidas business, through best-in-class partner publishing marketing. Provide value to the adidas business and consumer by; creating engaging & authentic publishing plans, and sharing guidance that empowers teams to create content that delivrs the adidas brand attitude consistently, drives cultural conversation both one to one and at scale. This role ensures the Newsroom Head Office are effectively planning and driving brand connections, membership and a commercial return on adidas.com and app via integrated partner publishing plans for key brand campaigns and relevant sport culture moments. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create partner publishing plans and briefs to amplify key brand campaigns, in-line with the Global Partner Publishing Strategy, Global Brand Calendar prioties and Global Business Unit’s priorities/concepts.
  • Horizontal Calendar Planning: Support NRHO Partner Publishing team to ensure clear & up-to-date horizontal partner publishing calendar. Including prioritisation of stories to support.
  • Partner commerce: Strategic guidance and exectionable support with Newsrooms to ensure best practice shoppable posts and live shopping with commerce friendly partners and franchise athletes
  • Content guidance: Provide direction and assistance on capturing content that will be published on partners social channels, including best practice guidance around format types. This guidance will extend to publishing against global guidelines, including tagging and hashtags to ensure legal compliance. Championing the need for authentic branded content that’s true to the partners, insight led and impactful for the brand around key brand campaigns and sport culture moments.
  • Collaboration:  Support the creation of annual plans with key partners across EIM, Sports Marketing and Brand Communications. Collaborate with the PR team to offer media placement and interviews, which are determined by global brand priorities, around product launches and landed with key media titles.
  • Portfolio Management: In partnership with EIM and SpoMa and key city NR network, identify relevant influencers. Maintain an up-to-date portfolio.
  • Process: Working against global brand milestone process to deliver on-time and in-full
  • Education and training: Provide training sessions for top partners on how to use social media, the type of content they should be publishing
  • Events and presentations: Attending workshops and summits to upskill internal teams and partners on strategic direction, expectations and industry best practice.
  • Budget Management: Ownership and management of budget with agencies and partners, setting up vendors and upholding compliance practices.
  • KPIs: Monitor performance of partners against KPIs to feedback to stakeholders on success and outcome of partners placement in media or publishing of content on social channels

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Creative, collaborative and confident  
  • Proactive and solutions orientated approach 
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and high level of strategic thinking 
  • High understanding of owned channel and paid social landscape 
  • Advanced experience and continued curiosity with all major social media networks: Facebook / Instagram, Google / YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch etc. 
  • Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned and paid  
  • Naturally curious and motivated by the ever-changing world of digital and mobile  
  • Detailed knowledge & passion for Sport and culture that inspires it 
  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion / entertainment industry 
  • Advanced presentation and organizational skills  
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills
  • Proven track record in Influencer Marketing
  • Proven experience in content creation for social
