Manager Planning APP

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


Implement global supply planning strategies in line with corporate objectives vertically for specific Business Units/Brands. Be the Planning partner of choice, responsible for translating Brand ambitions into tactical requirements. Provide actionable insights, while supporting a Global Planning framework that can be leveraged across all BUs.


Key Responsibilities:


Seasonal Planning:


  • Lead BU IBP drumbeat for GOPS–own the number to support capability & capacity building for supply base for related BU–ensuring demand plans of the markets can ultimately be satisfied in the sell & produce zone
  • Validate if BU strategy is reflected accurately in Sourcing’s seasonal allocation strategy, guide development teams to optimize capacity/capability utilization and support maximum availability performance once production starts
  • Drive production level loading via different measures on a BU level (e.g. Early Buy Ready, BU Make-To-Forecast, product consolidations)
  • Own BU CPR process & tools including derived action plans across functions in close alignment with horizontal BU Planning team
  • Operate within global planning framework (Processes, policies, calendars) while supporting BU specific needs through differentiated services (e.g. exceptional planning processes for collaborations, events)
  • Act as the extended arm of Horizontal Team for BU related actions, information requests and others
  • Collaborate and align effectively with BU Planning community, globally, to ensure broad adoption of policies, procedures, and timelines across locations


Monthly Planning:


  • Analysis monthly RCCP report, timely communicate with global IBP team to ensure Sourcing and Suppliers have correct data source for market demand on short creation, ensure production capacity availability for CCS short creation, e.g. NEO CFT, CCS 7month Creation.
  • Coordinating and aligning China market for planned and adhoc business with short period of style creation and  sell-ins.
  • Monthly manual set up creation system according to ordering schedule, communicate to GSP for PO placement.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and personal presence, with proven ability to interact, influence and convince at management level
  • Good product-related knowledge
  • Equal partner-minded and consumer/customer focus in all day job matters
  • Experience with (Supply Chain Planning and Execution) software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (mainly accustomed to MS Excel & MS Access)
  • Fluent in English


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries
