Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

The vast majority of consumer journeys start online – they like to browse, research and compare products, even if they intend to buy in-store.  The way consumers shop is reshaping the marketplace. As a result, many of our wholesale accounts (partners) are going through their own digital transformations. They are investing in how they reach the consumer online, whilst a new breed of accounts in the form of pure players and eMarketplaces have emerged in our digital ecosystem with new business models to service and sell to our consumers. At adidas, we are redefining our digital presence in a way that will push the future of digital and create premium experiences across all our consumer touchpoints to drive brand desirability, engagement and sales for our brands. The Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) team is driving this evolution in digital wholesale and through new business models across our worldwide organization.  

 

DPC Program Management will lead the cross-functional coordination, communication and change management. The team will need to oversee the end-to-end delivery of programs, tools, guidance, etc. The change management delivery will require significant experience sharing, learning journeys and upskilling support for affected teams. As DPC continues to grow, it will need to continuously update and refine its operating model and structure, both Global to Local collaboration and the interaction model with other cross-functional teams. 

 

As Manager Program Management, you will be a driving force behind the digital transformation of our global sales organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing a communications strategy to inform and engage our employees worldwide. As the DPC community continues to grow it will be important to update and evolve the way we operate to ensure maximum impact. This includes the interaction model with Market DPC teams as well as our global business partners. As a global center of excellence, you will also be responsible for onboarding and upskilling the DPC community as well as supporting the development of the broader adidas sales organization. Success is ensuring we have the right structures, processes and capabilities in place to drive the digital transformation within wholesale. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the internal change management effort by inspiring adoption of digital growth mindset, new behaviors and new standards of performance 
  • Own the overall internal communications strategy for DPC with clear purpose for each platform.  Design engagement tactics, identify and develop sponsorship spine, and provide guidance on communication for DPC teams  
  • Way we operate:  Build a global DPC community, introduce and advocate exchange forums, drive a rhythm of meetings & calls with market teams, and collaborate with key business partners to integrate DPC into the existing processes 
  • Develop & update onboarding materials for new hires in global and local teams to advance the learning curve and ensure fast knowledge transfer.  Partner with internal teams (e.g., Training & Learning, Digital Transformation Office) to build new tools and implement existing solutions to upskill the organization

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in the field of Business or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of in-depth experience in HR, training and professional development space 
  • Experience in digital transformation or eCommerce  environment preferred
