Manager Resource Operations, GCA Studio A

Key Responsibilities

 

Scope: Accountable for managing the China Studio A resourcing  

Resource Planning

  • Manage the project allocation resourcing forecasts, planning, budget management and reporting for China Studio A
  • Drive the resourcing function for China Studio A to manage, monitor and grow multi-functional team resources (internals and externals) to across Creative, Content Strategy, Operations & Production to deliver and support projects & programs.
  • Partner with Supplier Management/ Procurement department in order to manage suppliers for the projects & programs in scope, e.g. interviews, staffing, supplier costs.
  • Actively monitor and track Studio A operational KPI’s by providing transparency through reporting and identifying risks on time
  • Identify interdependencies with other functions and projects and solve issues proactively
  • Identify economically beneficial opportunities for China Studio A through the Operational platform, processes, culture and systems within Global Studio A network and manage their implementation.
  • Lead and drive the scouting, contractual management and the quality control for external and freelance vendors

Communication / stakeholder management

  • Apply appropriate and effective communication methods to senior management and important stakeholders (incl. vendor) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and manage the resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Drive change management activities for respective operations and projects and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.

 Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

  • Monitor and analyze respective processes continuously. Identify improvement opportunities and define respective solutions.
  • Conduct process reviews involving all relevant stakeholders to collect appropriate feedback and define/enrich a backlog of improvements.
  • Define change requests for new Global Studio A functionalities in sufficient detail for qualification and solution selection Document their implementation.
  • Drive best practice communication and trainings throughout the organization regarding your area of responsibility.

Requirements

 

Education & Experience

  • Degree with focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of in-depth experience related to operations, resource management or similar topics and professional experience in the digital ecosystem environment
  • Experience working with stakeholders at various seniority levels as well as subject matter experts across various functions (Developers, business stakeholders, product and marketing teams, etc.)

  • Very good communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures

Hard-Skills

  • Knowledge of digital technologies and communications platforms and culture
  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
