Manager Sales Development APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


Ensure sustainable and profitable market share growth, reaching top line and bottom-line objectives and leading the implementation of selected Global and local strategic initiatives in Asia Pacific

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of APAC Wholesale Strategic Plan and priorities
  • Support the adaption of relevant Global sales strategies/initiatives across Asia Pacific
  • Manage and execute implementation of relevant Global and APAC sales strategies/initiatives
  • Support to analyze, develop new and adjust existing end to end processes, services and standards
  • Support to run commercial assessments of markets and identify and document best-practice
  • Add commercial value to the countries and clusters (net sales and contribution)
  • Encourage wholesale collaboration across the respective market channels and depts.
  • (operating with an omni-channel mindset)
  • Establish regular feedback rhythm and format to HQ and best practice to countries and clusters
  • Shared responsibility with Global: development of future sales initiatives

  • Global: Global Wholesale, Global Biz Dev., Global IT, Global DTC, Global GTM Functions, Global HR
  • Markets/Countries/Clusters: Managing Directors, General Managers, Country Managers, Sales Directors, Biz. Dev. Heads, BU Heads, CTC Heads, Heads of KA / Field / Fashion / BP&O / Customer Service, KAMs, Sales Coordination Managers and Biz. Dev. Managers

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales experience in international SGI, FMCG and/or consulting company
  • Operational experience in Customer Service, Sales, Fulfillment, Sales Coordination
  • High degree of commercial knowledge and business acumen
  • Strong understanding of Wholesale processes, KPIs and ability to influence others
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, negotiation)
  • Demonstrable analytical, planning and organizational skills (e.g. project management)
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
  • Creative, open-minded and agile team player
  • Mental flexibility, initiative and determination
  • Basic to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
  • Understanding of the Asia Pacific market landscape

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree with focus on Sales / Marketing / Commerce
  • Business: 5+ year experience, ideally in the sporting goods industry
  • Functional: minimum 3+ year sales experience
  • Cross-functional experience ideally in Marketing / Sales / Finance / Operations / SCM
