Manager Sales

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:  

 

    • To build a quality, brand building distribution network that is capable of generating sales revenue to meet company business goals in his/her region
    • To be an effective retail consultant to help accounts to achieve business goals with high quality implementation

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Planning
  • Co-develops with commercial director the designated market(s)’ annual sales plan according to geographic, account & channel strategies
  • Prepares for the future order sales program package and delivery to retailers in a-G trade meeting; includes understanding of sales policies and strategies
  • Understands each season’s product flow, as well as micro & macro selling points (product v. range)
  • Forecasts of each season’s product flow plans for all accounts in responsible market
  • Quarterly Account Management with OTB forecast in “Future Order” Business
  • Monthly Account Management with Sell-Thru” analysis in “Prop-Order” business
  • Business Development & shop daily operation management

 

 

  • Management
  • Manages and executes a sales plan for responsible top accounts or markets
  • Works closely with regional retail development, retail marketing and operation teams to provide the best support to accounts
  • Reports market intelligence to upper sales management on regular time

 

  • Financial
  • Sales target & forecast responsibility
  • Manages A/R , DSO , Stock-Turn
  • Monthly Rolling Forecast - “Future Order” + “Prop-Order” + “ Close-Out” program

 

  • System and Processes
  • Executes and follows up on each season’s future order sales/shipping plan
  • Develops & maintains an in-depth awareness of inventory structure, with the goal of providing timely support for each customer’s retail inventories
  • Follows sales calls and reporting process- includes regular and timely reports to the RSM
  • Follows trade marketing processes regarding retailer development -needs include regular and timely updates
  • Provides a consistent and reliable point of contact for customers for all sales-related services, as well as a reference point for all other customer service related issues

 

 

KPI: Sales target achievement both in revenue and POS expansion, Productivity Improvement, Sell-thru analysis and Trade Stock Level, A/R Status

Retail Development Executive, Regional Retail Marketing Executive, Regional Retail Operation Supervisor, Customer Service Representative, Retail Training Management

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years working experience in China Distribution/Sales-related environment for sports or fashion Apparel & Footwear brand company ( NIKE / New Balance/ UA/ LACOSTE….etc )
  • University degree or above
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills
  • Retailing & Business Development experience is a plus
