Manager Security Program (m/f/d)

Purpose and Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

The Corporate Security department defines and implements security strategy globally. We support the business operationally by developing our Security and Safety capabilities, enabling the business to operate globally in a safe and secure environment whilst protecting brand value.

 

The Corporate Security process manager will work in conjunction with the overall Corporate Security lead as well as the sub department managers to develop and implement strategy.

The department has a varied and dynamic scope of work that includes the areas of:

  • Crisis & Incident management
  • Health & Safety governance
  • Travel Risk
  • Event Risk
  • Security Intelligence
  • Security Operations

The incumbent will ensure that the sub departments manage and deliver on KPIs, align with other departments and stakeholder’s as well as developing and maintain relationships with external organisations.

 

The position will develop and deliver an effective communications strategy both within the department and to the wider adidas group, ensuring Corporate Security process, guidance and policy is presented using multiple formats and methods. The position is key to the wider adidas goal, Creating the New with Creativity, Collaboration & Confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Reporting departmental progress to Corporate Security lead
  • Guide and support multiple Security projects
  • Drive and support the implementation of Corporate Security communications strategy
  • Project management
  • Develop and maintain communication platforms
  • Work with and develop external partnerships
  • Develop the approved security vendor program
  • Work with external vendors to produce useful tools for risk mitigation.
  • Deliver training and support to market Co-ordinators and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain, review and update Corporate Security global policies
  • Work with a variety of different departments on a wide range of projects including training and development of best practise on safety and security.
  • Incident and crisis management planning/ training.
  • Drive department communications to the broader adidas family.

Key Relationships: 

 

  • Cross functional within Corporate Security working with crisis & incident, H&S, travel risk and security operations teams.
  • Within adidas– Event stakeholders, including Sports marketing, Originals, Global Events, internal Events, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance dept., Markets and Bu’s.
  • Outside adidas –Event Agency liaison, Organising committees, commercial partners, sports federations (UEFA, FIFA etc.), Governmental departments.

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. (English)
  • Intermediate MS Office (Excel 2010, Word, Access 2010) skills.
  • Presentations
  • Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise work load and plan.
  • Ability to dynamically adapt to a changing situation.
  • Data analysis

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Educated to degree level, or industry recognised qualification
  • Project Management experience
  • Multi-platform communications knowledge
