Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

  • Support the strategic development, implementation, and execution of new business models to drive the
  • Support authenticate adidas Terrex brand in Greater China by driving strategic partnerships following global direction
  • To effectively analyze and improve business performance related reports and analysis to fulfill the business requirements for developing adidas Outdoor / Terrex business in GCA
  • To provide best support to Terrex team with better decision-making capabilities through proactive actions


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy development and execution
    • Support the development, execution and tracking of short-term and long-term Outdoor and Terrex strategy
    • Develop strategic and business planning documents
    • Support the development of executive level presentations and reports
  • Data analysis and decision support
    • Develop and manage data sources and central data repository of outdoor market and competitor intelligence for APAC market
    • Synthesize data and prepare analysis to support senior management decision-making on priority topics (typically working cross-functionally)
    • Conduct local relevant business analysis on sell-in and sell-out data in response to global business request
    • Develop and track regular business report consistency across different channel teams


  • Drive  the relationship with key strategic partners and CHINA/HYPERLOCAL  agenda.
    • Provide the support to the entire hype/collab process, with global Outdoor team, CCA, China Outdoor, and related cross-functional teams
    • Have an entrepreneurial mindset towards creating the new and seeking collaborations with some of the hottest local partners.
    • Coordinates with global outdoor team and CCA to ensure China needs are met through the hype and collaboration calendar via statement and beyond.
    • Ensure the products with 3rd party technologies are able to be launched in China with proper tools and supporting documents
    • Support with additional partnership opportunities to ensure we are present at strategic events (e.g. ISPO, fashion weeks) to build Terrex brand
  • Engage on major cross-functional projects and external research/projects, as required.

  • Good understanding of outdoor/sporting goods/retail industry, and demonstrated interest in fashion
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin



Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally with a focus on business administration in the fields of marketing and sales
  • Functional: At least 5 years’ experience in business analysis and application operation in multi-national companies
  • Professional experience working within a brand including hands on experience with collaborative projects
  • Experience in Business Intelligence tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) for data retrieval, report development and data visualization
  • Global mindset and ability to work cross-culturally; experience within different countries and/or different cultures
