Manager Web Analytics

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • To diagnose platforms store performance on daily basis thru analytics and drive actionable insights with business team including conversion optimization, traffic opportunity & assortment opportunity, etc

 

Key Responsibilities:

Web Tool Set Up & Analytics

  • Have experience of using TMALL/JD tools like SYCM, JD compass, etc and be familiar with platform rules and marketing/operation mechanism
  • Able to efficiently do hands on job of data consolidation/analysis/reporting & come up insightful reports
  • Willing to learn & build up analysis framework using all data available to drive insights
  • Work closely with IT/vendor to drive data automation & reporting visualization

 

Management

  • Work closely with campaign management team, UI/UX team, TP & Brand team to drive regular business review  & collaboration to achieve target
  • To identify & search new data tools/data services in the market to support business 
  • Work with Platforms to collect market information & drive collaboration

 

Processes

  • Define efficient data collection process to enhance platform data usage
  • Define way of working to drive collaboration with cross functional team on daily/weekly/monthly basis

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge on TMALL/JD Tools like SYCM, JD Compass
  • Strong analytics skills with solid experience in driving business decision with data facts
  • Passionate on data work & able to speak up & drive the conversion with business team
  • Good English in both oral & written, presentable
  • Big data (modeling) capability using SPSS, SQL, python, etc is a plus
  • Team player, demonstrating interests in training, coaching and motivating subordinates
  • Business acumen, especially for e-commerce
  • Communication skills, relationship management and empathy

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  Professional background / Experience

  • Functional: Minimum 5 years of experience in ecom/digital/business intelligence function for brand company/TP/Agency, etc, e
  • Industry: Ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or internet 
  • Others: a plus if have project on driving data integration (data manage platform) between TMALL/JD tools and internal system with IT

 

Education

  • University degree in business with  Information Management/Statics/Computing, etc

 

IT skills

  • TMALL & JD Analytics Tool: Advanced
  • Access/Excel: Advanced
  • PowerPoint: Good
  • SQL/SPSS/Python: Good
  • Tableau: Plus

 

Language skills

  • Native-level Mandarin and fluent English required
  • Good Presentation Skills to transfer data fact to story in English
