Manager Workplace Experience (m/f/d)

The Workplace Experience team unites perspectives across the organization to strategically shape the future of the physical workplace and related services – across all spaces where our employees work; ensuring to take an employee-centric approach which aims to elevate the employee experience at the workplace. This team ensures we create and operate our workplaces in a way, that the best work environment for our employees is provided over the entire real estate lifecycle.


In this role you are expected to support the development of global employee experience concepts and continuous improvement of adidas services that create a high-performance culture in which our employees feel like they belong, can be productive, and have a strong connection to our core belief. In this role you will support creation of experience concepts that translate strategic direction into tangible, employee-centric concepts that will be applied to the workplace / our working environments at global scale. By establishing these global standards, you will create a uniform delivery model for the employee experience with active support to regional teams for consistent delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the continuous improvement of the adidas future workplace concept via internal and external research and benchmarking
  • Work across Workplaces teams and other departments to transport learnings / outcomes of new workplace concepts programs into optimization of processes, services, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop documents (for trainings, workshops, briefings, case studies, presentations, reports, guidelines) that summarize workplace and employee experience concepts and standards
  • Develop employee journey maps in support of workplace concepts that foster health and wellbeing as well as our 3Cs environment within the services we provide
  • Provide input into the department’s outlook, planning and reporting structures
  • Actively ensure cross-functional communication and collaboration with key stakeholders and 3rd parties driving creation of guidelines and standards
  • Support development and test new concepts based on internal and external insights, catering to current workplace and employee needs, creating the best workplace experience to attract and retain talent
  • Develop and manage execution of training formats and respective documents to onboard regional project teams on newly developed concepts
  • Act as a point of contact concerning launched employee experience projects to ensure concept adaptation
  • Support a collaborative environment which enables team members to perform


Key Relationships

  • Internal Stakeholders (IT, Real Estate, Corp. Comms, Facility Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Retail)
  • Users of the different initiatives and pilot projects across Markets & BU’s 
  • External service providers (change management consultants, well-being consultants, strategic & organizational consultants, global workplace management, software suppliers, real estate and facility management consultants)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Business fluency in English required
  • Proven track record for implementing complex, cross functional workplace concepts tests and implementation projects
  • Very good verbal and written communication expertise (quality, consistency and accuracy)
  • Highly advanced presentation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally with understanding of external business drivers
  • Understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Interest in the latest market trends in the areas of customer experience, workplace concept innovation and development
  • High degree of customer orientation
  • System expertise: Microsoft Office suite, Office 365, CMS systems (Microsoft SharePoint and others) and project management tools (Smartsheet)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree (or equivalent) in business administration, project or change management
  • 5-8 years experience, preferably working for global players in sporting goods industry, facilities management or project management
