Manager eCom Global Trading


DTC is the center of our 2025 strategy for the adidas brand, representing our #1 store. In-season Trading is the foundation of a winning eCommerce business, unlocking net sales growth and margin health in a consumer-obsessed way. Offering the right product, at the right time and the right place in right volume. The purpose of this role is to fuel real time in-season trading by turning trading and assortment analytics signals into trading and assortment actions.




•    Create an optimized assortment for in-season reactive campaigns using real time trading analytics
•    Review and optimize the execution of our DTC exclusive product range by analyzing the performance and derive trading actions
•    Feed the upstream assortment creation team with in-season insights informing future seasons
•    Fuel trading on our revenue stream touchpoints outside our main touchpoints (dotcom & App) like Instagram shopping or Sports apps with the optimal assortment 
•    Deliver in-season trading insights and assortment recommendations for key commercial moments such as our Membership moments
•    Consult the Trading Analytics Product Owners, creating future Trading capabilities 
•    Analyze and interpret existing reporting and present findings to team.
•    Assist in maintenance of reporting suite. Over time, grow to develop ability to create new reports.
•    Serve as a key resource for ad hoc analysis to react to current and future business trends and present findings to merchandising team
•    Identify key trends and business drivers
•    Work collaboratively across functional areas to resolve inventory needs or issues

•    Self-motivated and passionate about driving data-led business acceleration and real time trading 
•    Ability to wear many hats. Our dynamic environment requires interaction with and support for different departments and roles.
•    Desire to get your hands dirty. Dive down in large data sets using multiple tools and key relationships to drive results.
•    Quick to learn new systems and tools
•    Excellent communication, presentation and multi-tasking skills

•    Fluent in English both verbally and written



•    BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
•    Ideally 3+ years trading, planning, merchandizing demand forecasting, or equivalent experience
•    Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses
•    Prior working experience in Alteryx, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics a big plus.
•    Experience in ecommerce environment.
•    Understanding of merchandising, buying, product planning and/or sales and the product creation process a plus
