Manager eCom In Season Trading & Allocation

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Responsible for managing merchandising operations on Platforms, including markdown execution, platform allocation, event support and operation, timely arrival and on shelf of products, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Accountable for pricing management base on sales performance with the consideration of company guidance and inventory on Platforms
    • Maintain up-to-date non-discount product list and communicate with store managers for operation
    • Suggest an optimal discount proposal, with the consideration of overall Omni channel MD guidance and inventory based on recent product sell through performance
    • Maintain monthly promotion cadence among platforms and align company promotion period with platform cadence
       
  • Responsible for platform allocation based on product performance, store event cadence and monthly sales target
    • Identify allocation strategy for offseason products among platforms
    • Timely review and adjust allocation plan between different platforms based on sales performance
    • Work closely with store managers for specific product request if any
    • Coordinate with cross function team for inventory block/unblock cadence with promo calendar

 

  • Event support and operation, including and not limited to pricing, allocation, livestreaming follow up, etc.
    • Work closely with buying team for the in-season product allocation adjustment among platforms
    • Work closely with buying team regarding the pricing adjustment for special range products and hype products
    • Work closely with store managers for event registration / Livestreaming assortment suggestion, etc.
    • Work closely with store managers and buying for the quick action during event based on product performance
  • Closely track the product performance in season performance and optimize the distribution to maximize sell-through. Eg. Platform allocation adjustment, brozen size management, return to FO proposals.
     
  • Closely work with WS and OR team and leverage Ship from store (from WS Franchise and OR) to maximize incremental sales, including but not limited to product assortment, allocation management, price management.

  • Overall commercial targets of eCommerce China
  • Markdown accuracy: company promotion, off-season MD for Platforms

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analysis skills and face-based orientation in decision making
  • Solid experience of Merchandising operations
  • Good knowledge of all ecommerce channels/online marketing
  • Able to multi-task
  • Detailed focused
  • Experienced in working cross-functional within international organization

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 5+ year experience in merchandising or eCom operations; preferably with a background in sporting goods.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics or related field.
  • Fluent Business English
  • High level knowledge in IT business solutions, tools, processes
