Marketplace & Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Make a research of the market, define all possible partners, models, requirements, prepare, present and approve financial case
  • Launch Marketplace business model from scratch but with full compliance with adidas Global standards and requirements
  • Reach an agreement (sign the contract) with third party vendor/integrator to operate all marketplaces through one system and one set of processes
  • Integrate Marketplace channel into adidas business rhythm
  • Collaborate closely with Global Teams to meet all Global requirements
  • Lead Marketplace operations (product buy and presentation, pricing, data analysis, collaboration with partners) after launch
  • Support Account Managers in adidas & Reebok current presence (Wholesale model) on platforms (web-sites) through search optimization, product pages development, images/definitions/articles names improvement, etc.
  • Lead Data (sell-out, traffic, conversion, views, etc.) analysis to make data-based decisions
  • Establish professional and future driven business relations with ecommerce strategic accounts
  • Align actions with marketing, finance, logistics and IT departments
  • Identify, on-board & win with relevant Marketplace accounts

Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills (successful projects portfolio in eCommerce)
  • Proficiency in eCommerce and marketplace management (over 3 years): deep understanding of the industry, e-com specifics, marketplace, KPI's, key tendencies and know-how, digital VM, content importance, analytics, etc.
  • Experience of working with Wildberries, Lamoda, Ozon, Beru, Tmall and others
  • Strong financial and analytical skills (role requires financial cases preparation and protection, also web data analysis)
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal (to present Marketplace project and negotiate internally and externally with potential partners and integrators)
  • Strong leadership skills, flexible team player (to drive the project through challenges and any uncertainty)
  • Background in Sport or Fashion industry/company will be an advantage (to understand adidas & Reebok product and business features)
  • Advanced English (role requires daily collaboration with Global)
