senior performance manager supply chain development EMEA

Purpose:

 

Team drives e2e SCM performance excellence (operational and efficiency KPIs)  through reporting & analytics capabilities. Set performance objectives, lead execution of KPI’s, analyse performance, provide insights, prevent risks, support new initiatives, provide insights and scenario-based simulations to drive improvements across the entire supply chain organization and adjacent functions.

 

This role focuses on Insights and Performance for Supply Chain, providing insights and actions to improve performance or to solve tough business problems through detailed root cause analysis.  Ideal candidate needs to be able to manage performance related to Supply Chain activities and their impact on business, identify performance gaps and trends and recommend areas for improvement as well as build productive cross functional relationships to drive improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead definition, execution and communication of experience and efficiency KPI scope in alignment with strategic direction
  • Identity the key structural opportunities in EU SCM operational and efficiency performance, drive continuous improvement in collaboration with SCM functions
  • Identify, interpret, and share patterns and trends (including benchmarks) to key business drivers; turn findings into actionable recommendations to influence key stakeholders
  • Facilitate with business stakeholder the definition of how performance is measured (KPIs) and ensure standardization of how it is measured and communicated in alignment with strategic direction (including project KPI’s)
  • Review, validate and identify appropriate targets by KPIs
  • Provide actionable insights with associated root causes, resulting in clear trade-offs, enabling decision making to drive performance improvement – such as identifying key structural opportunities in OTIF, COTIF and other KPI’s while mitigating risks
  • Explore insights and trends with the goal of identifying improvements to drive business and customer value with focus on experience and cost
  • Continually consider and leverage additional opportunities to improve reporting, RCA, quality of findings and insights to improve EU SCM performance
  • Work with global teams (SCCT etc. ) to enable new reporting leavers, ensure data quality, consistency and reliability
  • Initiate and drive discussions with x-functional stakeholders to collect and consolidate feedback, prepare, and align on actions / gameplan
  • Manage effective and timely communication on performance management based on an agreed drumbeat
  • Lead the team and team activities (e.g. knowledge sharing and employer branding)

  • Knowing P&L structure, budgeting, SCM costs structure, ability to work with finance data
  • Solid presentation and storytelling skills
  • Model and develop scenarios for new business scope, incl. financial components
  • Hands on experience of BI Solutions
  • Advanced MS office skills and as a plus familiar with Front-End BI visualization software’s such as MicroStrategy, Tableau or Power BI
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes and financial impact behind
  • Good knowledge of project management principles and methodologies / Lean Six Sigma

Requisite Education and Qualifications: 

 

  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with data analytics – operational or financial
  • Good understanding of supply chain principles and operating practices, logistics terminology, basic finance, and management of cross functional interdependencies
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of team management experience
