Senior Manager Corporate Finance
Purpose:
The Senior Manager Corporate Finance – NAM position is responsible for the end-to-end financial management of our NAM special purpose legal entities. In addition, this role will be responsible for the ongoing effectiveness and operational ability of Corporate Finance - NAM, through creation and drive of various applicable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, control & implement all relevant systems used for or to support accounting and financial reporting processes for NAM special purpose legal entities
- Responsible for actuals, forecasting & budgeting as well as developing and improving internal procedures for our NAM special purpose legal entities
- Design, maintain & further evolve our financial processes across NAM special purpose entities to ensure we successfully meeting both internal reporting as well as external audit requirements.
- Engage with our external auditors and internal controls team on our special purpose legal entities
- Support, manage and drive any Merger, Acquisition & Divestiture topics from a Corporate Finance – NAM perspective
- Support local and global teams on financial system integration projects and leading the accounting team’s involvement in such projects.
- Represent Corporate Finance in any strategic projects across Finance, Business, IT, Supply Chain, etc.
- Manage & execute global and local strategic initiatives for Corporate Finance – NAM
- Engage in people management topics across NAM Corporate Finance as part of the NAM Corporate Finance leadership team
- Perform other Corporate Finance - NAM tasks and assignments as required
Key Relationships:
- NAM Finance, NAM FP&A, global Finance, GBS, NAM business, External auditors & consultants, US Tax group, etc.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent knowledge in merger, acquisition, and divestiture accounting (US GAAP & IFRS preferred)
- Strong analytical & communication skills.
- Strong SAP, GRAPE, and MS Office skills
- Must be able to balance multiple priorities, be detail and results oriented
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 8-10 years’ experience in Accounting or Internal Controls with exposure to IAS and IFRS
- SAP and GRAPE working knowledge preferred
