Senior Specialist GBS Project Management (M/F/D)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Responsible for E2E managing of a project to develop a process, product, technology, system, solutions, or services: from Initiation to Closure:

  • Responsible for gaining agreements on and achieving project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality and requirements. Ensuring effective introduction of processes, products, technologies, systems, solution or services. Manages the scope and requirements. Manages the internal and external stakeholders. Manages the business case execution and is a business partner focused on maximization of the added value for the business. Manages projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives. Determines project risks, defines corrective action and drives the projects to closure. Determines, allocates, and directs all project resources in accordance with guidelines.
  • Keeps abreast of developments in project management tools and processes (both internal and external). Ensures compliance to company standards / policies/ rules/ procedures


Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:

  •  Apply standard E2E approach in the transformation projects, to ensure the plan realization
  • Formulates the E2E Transformation project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management; specifies the manning of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used.
  • Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.
  • Leads the E2E Transformation project, within the project budget and program strategy, in terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources.
  • Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally.
  • Reports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Job Overview:
    • Leads small transformation projects in E2E.
    • Manages small own project team as part of a larger project. 5 (FTE equivalent)
    • Accent on realization of an E2E sub-process.
    • Projects duration < ½ year.


  • Know-How: Technical Know-How, Management Breadth, Human Relation Skills:
    • Project management methods, relevant organization and E2E process and experience in managing change initiatives
    • Works independently to design, implement, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of assigned sub-process
    • Effective in facilitating and motivating collaboration, agreement, and commitment among diverse groups


  • Problem Solving: Thinking environment & challenge 
    • Prepares action plans for the current month and has a clear sense of what will be achieved in the months to come.
    • Improvement of the E2E solution to cope with changes in business requirements.
    • Takes a business approach to planning, coordinating, scheduling and managing resources, considering the future needs of the business, as well as functional and organizational polices and precedents.
    • Continually improves work procedures and processes for the assigned area.

    • Delivery of E2E-defined solutions for existing processes.

    • Project budget typically < € 0,25M.


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc (University Degree)
  • Up to 4 years of progressive work experience in project management
