Retail Loss Prevention Regional Representative - Central

PURPOSE   
Coordinate and administer all safety and security programs (primarily brick and mortar retail stores and retail events) to minimize loss and protect Company assets, with a primary emphasis on a specific region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Performs safety and security audits at Company facilities to assure compliance with Company policies, procedures and best practices, as well as federal and state regulations.
•    Reviews, documents and reports findings of third-party audits to appropriate personnel. 
•    Coordinates with operations management to create, implement and drive to completion effective action plans based on audit deficiencies.
•    Identifies and analyzes asset protection risks in order to effectively develop, recommend, and implement comprehensive countermeasures designed to eliminate and/or minimize loss. 
•    Conducts investigations (safety and security) affecting the Company, its employees, contractors and visitors. This may include, but is not limited to conducting interviews, collecting evidence, preparing documentation, and testifying in court. 
•    Serves as a liaison to law enforcement agencies conducting investigations affecting the Company and its assets. 
•    Assures coordination of internal and external resources during emergencies or operational irregularities to protect Company assets. 
•    Assists with new store openings, store closing and day-to-day operations by managing access control, closed-circuit television, computer-aided alarm monitoring and other security systems intended to protect the physical, information and human assets of the Company. 
•    Assists the Loss Prevention Manager and Safety and Security Senior Manager in the identification, development and implementation of safety and security policies and other compliance-related programs. 
•    Assists with developing and implementing training designed to enhance the awareness of safety and security within the Retail Division. 
•    Responsible for ensuring store personnel are following accident reporting procedures, assists in determining causes of accidents and providing solutions toward accident prevention.
•    Manages coordination of all safety and security resources for all retail events, including personnel and supplies. 
•    Other duties may be added as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•    Advanced MS Office and Outlook skills
•    Experience using a point-of-sale system 
•    Experience using various security camera and alarm systems.
•    Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication and in person
•    Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills. 
•    Ability to create, plan and deliver presentations
•    Ability to travel domestically (approximately 50% of the time) and internationally (occasionally)

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Four-year degree with 3-5 years of management experience in the Sporting Apparel & Footwear Retail industry. Previous experience with Loss Prevention preferred.  Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
