Seasonal Retail Offsite Store Associate - Montgomery Park Employee Store, 6536, Portland, OR

Purpose:

 

Contribute to the achievements of Store KPI targets by maintaining an effective and organized offsite area. The core expectations include utilizing expertise and experience to; receive, process and ship products achieving operational excellence, flawlessly execute offsite operations when responsible for product flow from the store’s offsite to the sales floor.

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Is aware of store and individual targets and actively works to meet or exceed these by using all resources available within the store.
  • Complies with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborates productively and respectfully with team members to meet or exceed store goals.
  • Communicates a desire for ongoing learning and welcomes all available opportunities to increase individual and store performance.
  • Provide ongoing support and collaborate with other team members.
  • Receives product, logs date and PO numbers on receiving log, or manually as needed, ensures accuracy.
  • Check product, inspect cartons for damage, group like PO numbers together, verify quantities shipped on packing slips to PO quantity requested, completes receiving complete or partial.
  • Hang product correctly, on correct hanger sizes, in size order, priced and sensor tagged.
  • Ships product, pack in boxes, transport by hand truck within store, and document shipping activities.
  • Transfer product from offsite to the store. Ensure it is done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in all aspects of shipping and receiving. Load and unload shipments, complete appropriate logs, follow appropriate policies and procedures, and make note of any discrepancies.
  • Stack and process in-coming inventory in accordance with offsite organization.
  • Sorts defective, obsolete, and mismatched product according to store procedures.
  • Verify all back stock products are ticketed at current prices.
  • Works with team and management on product requests to replenish needed product.

  • Ability to climb ladders and reach high shelves.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts.
  • Ability to learn and understand electronic components, RFID technology and related software

 

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

  • Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Basic numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
