Senior Director HR Talent Acquisition (f/m/d)

Purpose: As a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, you will provide leadership to the talent acquisition team in Germany headquarter and the Global TDD (Tech, Digital and Data) Recruitment team.

This role will lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to deliver key hiring projects and outcomes, managing interdependencies across TA, HR and business stakeholder groups.

You will be a highly experienced Talent Acquisition professional with the ability to build strong relationships, engage and influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo. 


Key Recruiting Responsibilities


  • Oversee execution and delivery of the new Global TDD Recruiting team and German HQ hiring
  • Being the point of contact for relevant business leaders and provide ongoing communication to sponsors, owners and key stakeholders, to ensure awareness and understanding of progress and status, in a timely manner
  • Develop exceptional relationships and strong lines of communication across functions/markets leaders and HR leaders, to allow for effective, on-going collaboration and successful execution of deliverables
  • Identify, investigate and lead problem resolution for complex requirements or other related deliverables, escalating whenever required
  • Set vision and drive strategic and operational goals for all aspects of talent acquisition for Germany headquarter and Global TDD to support future trends and business growth through talent acquisition excellence
  • Manage and influence business and functional leaders to ensure overall business objectives are met and the resources necessary to recruit talent are acquired
  • Lead, mentor, develop and increase capability of the talent acquisition organizational by driving high quality talent management practices within your organization
  • As a member of the global TAEE leadership team, contribute towards the direction and evolution of the overall talent acquisition function and talent acquisition strategy
  • Utilize data and insights to drive improvements across the end to end hiring process
  • Implement a standard framework of KPIs and monitor global function effectiveness for your organizations
  • Partner with Workforce Planning and People Analytics to understand relevant workforce planning needs and trends
  • Manage and collaborate with external vendors

Experience Requirements:


  • BS/BA Degree
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in recruiting (agency or in-house) including recruiting on a global level.
  • Minimum 7 years managing recruiters and projects to achieve organizational goals.
  • Track record of success driving a holistic recruitment strategy (needs assessment, planning, execution and embedding) for multiple functions and/or markets.
  • Demonstrated success independently executing against project deliverables, targets and mid-term, long term objectives as well as leading people towards achieving targets and deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management and stakeholder engagement experience including influencing senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability contributing towards the development of and driving global initiatives as well as embedding them at the functional/market level.
  • Has demonstrated a strong mindset and results related to experience with a specific focus on candidates, managers and recruiters.
  • Strong knowledge of the functional areas/markets that you support.
  • Strong experience in people management and leading teams (including virtual teams) by creating a high performance environment build around creativity and empowerment.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills with senior level HR, Business and Recruiting colleagues on a global basis.
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to grasp cultural differences, understand regional differences and successfully drive initiatives across a complex landscape.
