Senior HR Project Manager Sofia Site

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Manage and deliver the set-up of a new hub location in Sofia as a project manager in the build-up and growth phase. After the build-up phase, act as a strategic HR business partner and advisor to develop, lead and enable a comprehensive people strategy that drives business growth, talent development, and a high-performance culture. The role holds a key responsibility in the region’s enablement through managing complexities, challenges, and opportunities by partnering with the local leadership as well as the HR, Tech, and Sales Senior Leadership Team.


Key Responsibilities:


 Project Management (First phase)

  • Plan and lead location/hub build-up project from planning to successful delivery
  • Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources
  • Ensure availability of financial, material, and human resources required to successfully complete a project
  • Oversee the recruiting and orienting of project personnel to ensure a capable workforce
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, quality, within scope and within budget
  • Oversee internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of an organization


HR Business Partner (Second phase)

  • Partner with the global HR team to drive and build the best employee experience and execute of the People Strategy locally
  • Actively support business initiatives and business needs with effective people products/ services and measures that promote positive creative climate for our people.
  • Work closely with the Rewards team to input, shape, develop and promote overall compensation & benefit programs in Sofia
  • Work closely with the Talent team to input, shape, develop and promote overall Talent programs, learning and leadership products to ensure a seamless and consistent implementation that is fit for purpose
  • Ensure smooth processes for recruitment and transfer activities in close cooperation with Talent Acquisition.
  • Ensure all core annual people processes including people planning, annual salary rounds, promotions/salary adjustments, succession planning, talent identification, talent conferences, performance reviews, etc. are implemented with excellence and consistency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills & ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams from concept to implementation, ideally on an international scale
  • Aligns business & HR strategy and has broad experience in areas such as talent management, benefits, employee relations, succession planning and talent development
  • Self-driven, has an entrepreneurial spirit, is deeply passionate about diversity, inclusion and belonging
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at multiple levels within the organization
  • Role model of our culture and take a culture- first view on every process and interaction
  • Curious with a huge learning appetite



Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 6-8 years progressive of progressive experience in a multinational company with experience in HR Management, location build-up and/or consulting background
  • Experience in leading a team on build-up/acquisition and integration of a new organization
  • Project management certification or demonstrated project management skills and experience
  • Fluent in English, ideally also in Bulgarian
