Senior Manager, Brand Communications APAC (Originals/NEO)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • The mission of the role is to build the adidas brand as the best sports brand in APAC through maximizing innovative and inspirational brand exposure. He/she will achieve this mission by:
  • Lead category brand comm deliverables for APAC GTM milestones
  • Lead key campaign planning and creation of campaign content toolkit for APAC
  • Interface with global, country & clusters and APAC cross-functional teams
     

Key Responsibilities:

  • APAC brand comm deliverables for Go-To-Marketing milestones
  • Lead and manage APAC category calendar development, and provide input to APAC planning team for horizontal calendar development
  • Develop category handover tool to support successful sell in, including guidance on key seasonal stories, sell in plan for key campaigns, sell in tool development, APAC sign off show…etc.
  • Collect and provide solution for country & clusters’ feedback and needs on category calendar and toolkits
  • Key campaign planning and tool creation
  • Lead marketing activation plan for APAC key campaigns through close work with country & clusters
  • Lead the creation of campaign content toolkit for APAC, including local campaigns for APAC
  • Monitor smooth handover campaign toolkit to country cluster Brand Communication teams for execution
  • Allocate and manage APAC above market production marketing budget 
     

 

Interface with global, country & clusters and APAC cross-function teams

  • Lead the interaction with global BU teams as the key point of contact for all marketing campaign development, tool creation and seasonal category calendar.
  • Lead the interaction with APAC BU & CtC to determine the key seasonal outfits for campaigns
  • Lead the interaction with country & cluster brand communication team for category calendar development, key campaign planning and tool kit creation

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the advertising or communication dept. with an international brand
  • Previous experience in advertising, PR, and Creative Services in APAC, Previous experience with media in APAC
  • Knowledgeable about APAC fashion and international sports/or fashion, lifestyle industry. An interest and desire to participate in and learn about sports i.e. a sports enthusiast
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • Exposure – Sports, brand/category marketing, trade marketing
  • Relevant APAC marketing experience, preferred
  • University Degree or above. Preferably in a marketing or communications related discipline.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
