Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Manage Planning process across assigned DTC channels, including Concept Stores and Factory Outlets. Deliver OTB planning and management, defining optimal volumes to provided channel ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee implementation of pre-season strategy for OTB Planning & Management following the market financial targets (including planned production for Factory Outlet)
  • Manage the submission of initial seasonal forecasts into applicable systems for horizontal review by global functions at key milestones
  • Manage the size breakdowns process assuring they are created according to market needs and incorporated in the buying process
  • Manage stakeholders to receive input to Market CTC Assortment Planning teams in regards to range needs by store tier
  • Manage market relevant store tiering process following global store tiering guidance, in collaboration with CTC Assortment Planning teams
  • Drive for effective flow of stock from regular DTC channels to FO channels to assure product relevance in regular stores, adequate stock clearance and margin optimization
  • Build and leverage relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g. Buying, Planning, Marketing, Allocation) to obtain information necessary to achieve business objectives
  • Create a supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development.
  • Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Specialist with technical skills in pre-season Planning for a multichannel direct-to-consumer (own retail) global brand
  • Deep knowledge of merchandising and retail supply and operations topics and broad knowledge of other functional areas involved in the Planning process
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with driving OTB process

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree, ideally with merchandising, business, or finance focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 8 years typical relevant work experience
