Senior Manager, Digital Planning APAC

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Digital planning team drives alignment across the digital ecosystem by creating calendars and campaign plans with input from all stakeholders leading to one seamless consumer activation across all digital activation touchpoints.
This role is key to the successful adoption, development and implementation of Global digital strategies and seasonal plans for APAC market. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead digital activation & consumer journey planning across the digital ecosystem for brand, product & commercial campaigns.
  • Leverage the Global digital strategy and planning framework to create seasonal digital activation plans for adidas across various digital sales channels.
  • Develop & drive working process for creation of APAC digital seasonal activation calendar in partnership with APAC CTC,Brand Comms & BU’s across the Go to market milestones.  
  • Based on global, market, consumer & digital brand commerce objectives & insights drive the development & updates of APAC seasonal digital campaign calendar for APAC eCom/ e-Trade Platforms & Memberships.
  • Handover the APAC digital calendar & onboard all APAC countries on the plan.
  • Map & create campaign toolkit requirements & activation framework for all digital sales channels.
  • Create local Membership/e-Trade/eCom calendar for SEA bringing together local product & commercial campaigns.
  • Orchestrate the end to end process from calendar planning, campaign briefing, content handover, implementation, result measurement & report publishing. 
  • Create strategic framework, comprehensive templates & tracking timelines to project manage & co-ordinate across the digital activation team & extended stake holders to ensure on time in full delivery of campaign activation plans for all channels.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in digital marketing calendar, campaign development & execution.
  • Experience in mapping consumer journey frameworks across digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital sales channels & cross channel planning for synchronizing campaigns across channels.
  • Ability to manage & collaborate with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders: BU’s, eCom, Brand Activation, Retail, Agencies etc.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Regional experience or experience across APAC countries is a plus.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities
  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion industry.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills 
  • Languages: Fluent in English. Japanese/Korean language is a plus (not mandatory).

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related field. Master Degree a plus.
  • 8+ years’ industry and / or relevant  work experience
