Senior Manager, Frontend Ops, Ecommerce, SEA

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

In this role, you would be shaping the future of adidas eCommerce in SEA and will be driving brand success by realizing adidas’s Own the Game strategy

You would be driving the adidas  adidas eCommerce business in SEA by creating best in class  premium shopping experiences on adidas owned digital platforms such as web and app through storytelling, brand campaign activation, CRM communications, site merchandizing optimization, product content, CRO and briefing features to the product teams for premium representation of adidas products and stories

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for optimizing and delivering the “best-in-class” website and mobile app experience for the consumer with the aim to improve conversion rate and AOVs
  • Responsible for  the execution of brand and commercial moments in line with brand requirements and with the aim of achieving the best sell throughs.
  • Ensure that there is a working process and clear KPIs created for any new tools that are made available on the website and apps after passing the project management phase
  • Develop and constantly improve the acquisition, activation, revenue and r etention strategy to ensure a healthy mix and engagement across the conversion rate funnel
  • Manage all consumer life cycle programs and ensure that there is constant optimization producing positive ROIs while balancing the cost of creation. Ensure also a healthy traffic and revenue contribution mix with the other paid channels.
  • Work with the adidas  membership program  team to ensure it is correctly represented and support with any site operations. 
  • Responsible for onsite merchandising strategy to drive sales, conversion, margins and inventory turn
  • Responsible for the content creation to website process with the aim of improving digital platform coverage, accuracy and speed to site
  • Responsible for master data, process flow and alignment to ensure that products are launched at the right time with full information
  • Responsible for running CRO experiments in collaboration with analytics team
  • Responsible for working closely with the global team to implement best practices and deploying tools that improve accuracy and result in flawless execution
  • Accountable for bringing key campaigns together and working closely with the performance marketing team to ensure right investments behind campaigns

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Past experience in site merchandising, master data and CRO, digital visual merchandizing, performance marketing and digital strategy in a direct to consumer set up
  • Implementation driven personality who understands site conversion and merchandising optimization
  • Deep understanding of online consumer behavior and shopping experience
  • Proven experience of planning campaigns and execution on digital products front ends
  • Exposure to input to UI Design, UX research would be highly appreciated
  • Experience in planning and executing A/B testing would be highly appreciated

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering, economics, business studies
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Digital consumer experience across owned web and owned app plaforms  with strong knowledge of online merchandising in sporting goods, personal care, FMCG, etc
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience using a range of tools, i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytic, FredHopper and A/B testing tools
  • Exposure to salesforce products would be good to have
  • History of demonstrated success in conversion and site merchandising (product assortment and representation)
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Able to work collaboratively across functional groups with excellent time management skills and strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills
  • Team player
  • Adept in building and maintaining relationships in a matrix organization
  • IT skills: Outlook and Word: Intermediate; Excel and PowerPoint: Advanced; Photoshop or InDesign experience
