Senior Manager - Brand Communications - Digital Marketing Sustainability (m/f/d)

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

 

The Senior Manager Digital Marketing is responsible for defining the overall digital strategy of brand concepts and campaigns within a brand management function and delivering innovative and leading execution in digital media.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Deliver digitally-powered solutions that drives consumer growth across Brand Marketing teams and Business Units.
  • Define and lead the overall digital strategy for brand concepts and campaigns, including which tools, activities and execution will deliver the best return.
  • Monitor that the strategy and initiatives are flawlessly executed.
  • Manage agencies on the creation and development of digital campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage an external partner with veto/approval rights
  • Work with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution and seamless connection plans: Digital Brand Commerce, IT, Media, Brand Comms, PR/Social, Consumer Engagement, Retail, Brand Strategy, Purpose Team, etc.
  • Research and lead external resources and partners to service the global strategy.
  • Manage and get the best return from the allocated budget.
  • Leverage digital analytics to monitor success of digital campaigns and shape future strategies.
  • Coordinate and distribute documentation of project information with internal and external groups.
  • Utilize internal resources (digital analytics and research) to deliver consumer insights which inform the business unit global strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
  • Broad experience in marketing digital campaign development and execution.
  • Deep understanding of an ever-changing digital marketing landscape and experience in project management.
  • Broad experience with digital production process and technical nature of developing digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions as well as ability to manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital.
  • Working knowledge of:

• Office software,

• Development languages (including but not limited to: HTML, DHTML, Flash, Javascript, XML, asp, java, CSS),

• Analytics systems,

• Standard CMS platforms

• Digital channels (social, owned and emerging technologies).

  • Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master’s degree / MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
    Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
