Senior Manager Business Strategy Execution

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To support the successful delivery of the strategic business plan through identification of actionable insights and cross-functional business partnering.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Provide relevant local insights and data to support informed decision making and the development of impactful business plans.
  • Work with local functional leaders to identify and develop initiatives to deliver the strategic plan.
  • Lead, facilitate and support specific cross-functional projects and change management initiatives, driving excellence in project management execution.
  • Provide ongoing communication and tracking of progress for priority projects to the Leadership Team and other identified stakeholders.

 

Market Intelligence

  • Deliver marketplace and consumer intelligence to support high quality business decisions.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with relevant information packages meeting their respective needs through an aligned communication plan and process.

 

Head Office

  • Support management processes through agenda planning and organization of relevant documentation for all key stakeholder interactions, driving continuous improvement through best practice sharing.
  • Work with the Internal Comms team to ensure management information and business priorities are amplified to a broader audience to drive engagement and understanding.
  • Facilitate and prepare content for assigned local meetings and internal VIP visits.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Consumer focused and experience of driving insights to action.
  • Proven cross-functional project management skills and track record of successfully delivering change.  
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen.
  • High personal impact and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English essential.
  • Mindset: curious, questioning, agile, pro-active and action orientated.

 

Requisite Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant functional experience.
  • Experience in sporting goods or fashion is a benefit.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and relationships.
