Senior Manager Business Intelligence - YEEZY

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


  • To directly influence and inform the BU strategy and vision by the creation, development and delivery of analytics, tools, insights, and presentations. 
  • Develop and implementation of tools for cross functional BU partners that focus on business planning and consumer/competitor analytical needs
  • Lead analytics on business, competition, consumers and marketplace to inform sell-through and go to market strategies
  • Effectively and efficiently provide data supported answers to business and consumer questions from stakeholders


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and manage the business intelligence process, deliverables and community portal to support informed decision making with brand, market, consumer, customer and competitor intelligence.
    • Consolidate all research on an internal portal with regular updates
    • Liaison with brand marketing agencies and research firms
    • Leverage and share insights across business units, global market research and org
    • Improve tracking and management of research requirements and efforts
    • Work closely with BU PMs and CtC on market specific sell-out focused channel and door allocation strategies that incorporates future consumer demand predictions and franchise health reporting
    • Budget management and research decisions
    • Help drive business decisions using business intelligence – embed the process, data and data driven decision making into the organization
  • Critically analyze competitor, consumer, customer, market share and business data to deliver information and key insights to the organization
  • Regular detailed deep dive analysis and reporting on franchise management health and recommendations on future volume/ rollout planning with CtC
  • Pre/During/ and Post launch analysis and feedback- focusing on consumer engagement, demand, and volume available in market
  • Develop, implement, and improve tools/applications to fulfil data, analytical, range planning, allocation, and financial needs.
  • Provide analysis on a global as well as market/ country detailed level
  • Prepare key intelligence presentations
  • Present findings to key BU, brand, and market stakeholders
  • Provide input into strategy, SBP process and key projects
  • Work collaboratively with adidas consumer research networks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial and business acumen
  • Advanced understanding of industry and consumer landscape, competition, and the resell market.
  • Ability to understand key strategic and business concepts and translate into effective methods of communication
  • High personal impact and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to navigate a matrix organization
  • Ability to organize data, analyze information and draw powerful insights 
  • Complex problem solving- with the ability to create their own technical solutions
  • Expert Mastery of MS Powerpoint and Excel.  Familiarity with Photoshop a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other languages-plus.


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum 8 years of strategy, business development, consulting and/or finance experience preferably in the sporting goods industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics or Research
  • Master’s of Business Administration preferred
  • Master’s degree can be substituted for years of experience
