Senior Manager Digital Operations, Master Data

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


Accelerating eCommerce is a key pillar of our overall 2021 strategy for China for both adidas & Reebok. Our digital platforms and experiences play a vital role in connecting our consumers with our products and brands across many different touch points, as well performing the important role of selling directly to the consumer. 


The ideal candidate will play an important role is focusing on establishing an operational excellence for marketing campaigns and on-line promotions/events and being a contact center for cross-functional communication and project management, creative production and on-line launching of marketing campaigns.


In this role you will be responsible for managing the cross functional end-to-end production process of all our promotional assets, supporting our marketing, UX teams.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team to ensure a smooth and efficient Master Data and Publishing operation for adidas and Reebok, including but not limited to processes to collect and sort product attributions (price, inventory status, assets, consumer-facing content, campaign information and etc.), taxonomy, product activation, on-shelf/off-shelf, etc.; and explore local consumer preference on size and fit information; initiate and lead project to develop user friendly size information;
  • Manage and set up overall plan of site configuration, product readiness and page publishing to support promotions and campaigns;
  • Track campaign and promotion operational readiness and performance, and ensure quality standards as defined service level;
  • Develop expert-level of understanding on existing systems and tools; plan and lead projects and initiatives to enable automation and drive operation excellence; enable eCom flexibility and capability for omni channel strategy
  • Serve as point of escalation for support issues with high impact and visibility;
  • Manage vendor contract negotiation together with procurement, KPI set-up and performance review;
  • Governance site performance and ensure stores on 3rd party platforms and own system running properly with work including not limited to store contract renewal, etc.;
  • Liaise with global team and other internal functions (i.e. SCM, IT, BI) to continuously improve system functionality and operation process;
  • Measure and improve team productivity, knowledge and skills based on business growth requirements; Review performance on a regular basis;
  • Be responsible for driving team accountability for delivering results with efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Be able to influence team members by leading, coaching and inspiring;
  • Encourage and drive team initiatives and adapt to changing and evolving environment.



Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Abilities:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of eCommerce Operation or marketing operation experience
  • 3+ team leader experience
  • Be familiar with eCommerce platforms (i.e. brand site, traditional eCom platform Tmall/JD and new social commerce platforms) campaign/promotion process
  • Be passionate about eCommerce and able to work under intense timeline
  • Can work during weekends or public holidays if needed
  • Sense of responsibility, independent way to work
  • Result driven and be willing to contribute upon team deliverable
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience is preferred, especially experience working with digital tech team
  • Overseas working or study experience
